I am a "Professional Hacker" by job title, so when I saw that there was a robotics school that my…read morekid could go to less than ten miles away from our home in Woodland Hills I jumped at the opportunity. I showed my son a few videos from the buildcoolrobots.com page and his eyes lit up. I thought to myself "We may have a winner". After his first class/demo my kid was hooked. As a "Geek Father" I must admit I had a tear (of joy) in my eye as well as he told me "Daddy I love it". Speaking with Stan (the man) to get a feel for his "savvy" I was extremely pleased at his skill level and more importantly how he related with the kids in the classes. The kids love Stan! I could barely get uninterrupted time to speak with him. The kids were relentless with their enthusiasm for either completing a "Mission" or asking for a little help with their robots "code". This impressed me even more. My son began his journey the beginning of Summer 2013, attending classes eight times a month. In that short amount of time he has gone from an interest in computers to developing code and furthermore being excited about it. My sons enthusiasm spans even further from the classroom as (per Stans guidance for me and my kid begging me) I have purchased everything he needs to develop at home. With that being said, I have gone to my sons room on a few Saturday mornings to find my son NOT playing Xbox but instead programming on his laptop telling me "Daddy I almost completed this mission, look at this"! If you are looking for somewhere your kid can learn skills that will benefit them for the rest of their lives, I highly recommend that you enroll them at Great Minds Robotics. Neither you or your kid will be disappointed.

We only went to swim classes for a few months and now my son (age 3) loves the pool, loves swimming…read moreand has learned the skills to help him be water safe. My son had almost no experience in a pool before we started classes. He can also be extremely cautious and careful and usually takes longer than his peers to feel comfortable with a new situation. And then to make matters even worse, we tried another teacher right before Andy, who kept forcing my son's head underwater and ignoring his pleas for her to stop. So going into these classes my son was pretty on edge and would cry at almost every class for the first few weeks. But Andy was VERY patience with my son. Andy created the perfect balance of knowing when to play games and have fun and when to push my son to learn a new skill! Because of that balance, my son was able to learn a bunch of water skills, including jumping into the water and swimming back to the edge (helping him to be much more water safe), plus he now loves the water and loves swimming. He now wants his birthday party to be a pool party and he wants to be a Life Guard Scientist when he grows up. My son now has confidence in the pool and he loves it! And I feel much better about his safety at the pool because of the new skills he has learned!

Also theory instructor Mr. J Ragasa is once of the best if your in his class you will pass you nclex his students are always more knowledgeable and informed because of the way he teaches, he will support you and give you advice if he sees students are having hear time. Ms. Amber shes assistant DON shes one of the most knowledgeable person you can have on your side she always there if you need any help she will go above and beyond to make sure your problem is promptly solved. Clinical instructor Mr. Ron he was one of the best teach a lot of information, understanding, and always on his students side. However majority of clinical instructors are not that helpful and everyone says different things which confuses the students, I feel they do know have the updated information. The clinical sites and labs are okay some changes need to be made. Clinical sites could of been better places and more teaching. At the end of the day if you have a great theory teacher you will pass you nclex. Rest of the skills you have to learn during your career.
