Dear Prospective Homeowners:…read more It is our immense pleasure to recommend Kim Buckingham as a real estate agent for any individual or family searching for the ideal home for their unique situation. We were in the process of downsizing and looking to move to a 55+ community in the Southwestern Riverside Area. We had selected one community and Kim showed us a few homes but could sense we did not particularly care for the community. Rather than wasting time looking further she suggested another community in a neighboring city and scheduled a tour of several homes on a different date that met all of our needs. From our initial meeting I was impressed how well Kim noted everything we wanted and took diligent notes regarding our specific needs in a single family home as well as our budgetary limitations. She is highly talented and did not waste our time with homes that were not in line with our needs. A master with the contract negotiations, Kim came up with a deal that was good for us and made the seller happy as well. She knows Southwest Riverside County like the back of her hand. There is nothing that escapes Kim's attention when it comes to property for sale in this area. We found Kim to be a highly attentive agent, almost as if we were her only customers, although we know that was not the case. She always answers her phone calls and provides texts and emails within hours. We never felt neglected or unimportant. She is also highly personable with an engaging personality. Most importantly to me, she is always on time and never forgets any detail. We are pleased to recommend Kim to anyone looking to buy or sell a home. She is hands down the best in the business in our opinion and if we ever need to move again she will be our first choice in real estate agents. Where do I begin? I…read morerecently worked with Vanessa to sell my home and the experience was beyond fantastic - to the point where I'm going to have her help me purchase my new home. From the start, she was professional, kind, and transparent. She completely owned the entire process, which was great and kept me looped in the entire way. She is also flexible. I wasn't initially sure if I was going to sell and what direction I'd be going due to several factors, but she stood ready. She's patient and persistent. For instance, my uncooperative HOA - she drove ways out of her way to their office to get things done, even though (it seems to me) this wasn't her responsibility. She's a great communicator. She's very responsive, especially during critical times like the open house and negotiations. The end result was receiving multiple offers with the best being a cash offer + free rent back for over a month! I can't thank her enough and would highly recommend partnering with her for your home needs.

So we needed someone who was smart and skilled to make this happen for us. Vanessa was all that and more!!! She is a super skillful communicator, masterfully tactful, and a wealth of knowledge. A lot of people say buying a home is hard and it can be, however Vanessa was so prepared in carefully walking us through the home buying process that I was never overwhelmed and always felt in good hands. Super grateful! We are so THANKFUL we found Vanessa. We did go through a couple other realtors who just didn't work with the same professionalism and skill level and it was really tough. We've been living in our home now for about 1 year now and we absolutely love it! It's exactly what we wanted and Vanessa really fought for us to get it. There were several other bids on the house, ones even higher than ours but she worked every angle to make our bid shine above the rest! And it did! Vanessa is one of a kind! I can't express my gratitude enough! Thank you SO MUCH!

After having a bad experience in selling another property previously, we chose to come up with criteria to find that perfect someone. We, as a family, already had plenty of emotional challenges and stresses to deal with so it was important for us to adhere to guideline #1. 1. Seek Referrals 2. Choose the Person, Not the Experience 3. Remember Chemistry is Key 4. Find Someone Who has your Best Interests at Heart 5. Go with your gut feeling 6. Find an agent you can Trust 7. Look for Passion, Conviction and Honesty 8. Make sure they offer adequate support 9. Check if they mitigate risk 10. Look for core values 11. Find a compassionate agent who understands you 12. Track record and inventory 13. Seek Clear Lines of Communication We were referred with ONE referral - Heidi Dickens. We set to meet with Heidi and one meeting is all it took to know that she was the ONE! Heidi may have an extensive and impressive experience but the person that she is - caring, compassionate, ethical, professional, wonderful communicator, knows the way the world of social media, and so much more - she was our perfect fit! We signed our contract with Heidi prior to the COVID19 pandemic. No one could have ever imagined how upside-down our world would be once the quarantine and stay at home mandates began. Heidi through all of this added challenge remained, caring and so very thoughtful. Despite having already staged the house, prepared the video showcase for the property, and other arrangements, she put US first! Throughout the entire process, Heidi made it clear to us that her approach to working with us would be that she took ownership of EVERYTHING. From understanding that we did not want a lock box at the door, to understanding we also wanted to make sure she would be there for any and every showing. To understanding that I was a control freak about making sure I knew when she would be at the property, or when anyone she worked with was at the property. She took the time to understand each and every one in our family, including our quirks and personalities. If our experience with Heidi is any indicator of how she is with all her clients, then, she is definitely one who will put her client's interest first. She is not only passionate about being the best Real Estate agent, but she truly knows her stuff when it comes to real estate rules and regulations. She works with an exemplary team that made this process as bearable because of the emotional strain this was on us. Her team was just as amazing as Heidi herself. It takes a very special person to lead the efforts to the level that Heidi did for us. Which, by the way, if one were to look at her other reviews, shows that she definitely takes pride in doing the best on behalf of her clients....continuously! As I mentioned, Heidi had the added challenge of dealing with the quarantine and social distancing guidelines that were constantly changing while working on selling our property. She made sure that the appropriate steps were taken to ensure that anyone, once the quarantine was eased to allow viewing again of the home, remained secure and met the guidelines for ensuring the safety of all parties. When other agents tried to circumvent the process, Heidi made sure to protect our rights and interest. And, she did so with professionalism, ethics and grace. Her weekly communications were an added benefit too. I firmly believe that we not only had an amazing experience having Heidi as our real estate agent but I think we were blessed to have gained a friend as well. There would be NO hesitation on our part to recommend Heidi and her team at Village Properties. She truly is a remarkable human being and real estate agent.
