It is what it is. It's locate in a warehouse building in a business plaze because it's just a Venues & Event Spaces and not a restaurant, so they do not serve food or drinks here. However, we had arranged caterings to bring the food in, and we brought wines and cocktails which their staff helped serving them. So basically it is what it is, a very simple empty space which you can make what you can make of it. I am not sure the management provided the backgrounds and curtains as they looked simple but nice. The IT staff brought in the screen for presentations and the loud speakers for music and announcements. As the meeting getting to the end, I felt it went smoothly and thought the staff was very friendly and helpful. The only thing I thought was parking could be a challenge. If you plan to have a large group of people attending a event here, there will not be enough parking spaces in front of the building. Your guests may have to park out in the back and walk around the building to get in.

The landscaping is serene and really well kept, with lots of spots that make you want to stop and take it in. I really enjoyed it for a peaceful stroll and ended up taking a ton of nature pictures -- the light, the greenery, and the traditional architecture all make for great photos. We spent our time visiting the Japanese gardens. It was excruciatingly hot the day we visited. We were glad for the frequent benches to stop and rest. We enjoyed the beauty of the various gardens. Especially liked the bamboo grove as my husband got to explain to a few folks a bit about bamboo and the ingenuity of his grandfather using bamboo on his farm in Georgia as irrigation conduits. The sign saying don't carve the bamboo next to a carved stalk was ironic... In addition to the various plant gardens, there were the rock gardens, the waterfalls, and the pine forest. Liked seeing the koi fish and turtles. Another highlight was the bonsai exhibit. Throughout the winding path, there were stone lanterns and small wooden huts. At the entrance to the area with the original 1977 museum is a laughing Buddha statue of Hotei, the god of happiness. Smaller than expected, you might miss it the first time you pass by. As a caveat, prepare for lots of walking. Wear comfortable shoes, a hat or carry a parasol, sunglasses. They have a couple areas with steps, but there is an alternative "easier" path for strollers or handicapped. And if possible, come when it's cooler. I'm glad we walked the entire perimeter. But for someone very much out of shape, I know I'll be feeling my achy muscles. I'm glad we got this brief glimpse into the history and culture of the Japanese in South Florida. It's one of the most distinctive tourist attractions in our area.

The rental price includes tables, chairs, access to the back where there's a refrigerator and sink, and use of the courtyard area next door for a cocktail reception. And there's bistro lights strung from the rafters so there's not much decorating you need to do! The space is a vintage gym and it has an upstairs that could be used for a cocktail reception if it were raining or if you have a large wedding. I believe the space holds up to 300 guests but our wedding was about 80 people which left lots of room for dancing! You are able to bring in all of your own stuff from a DJ to Catering to Alcohol which helps reduce costs. The space is white with light hardwoods and some teal accents. And it's obviously an old gym with basketball court lines on the hardwoods. Since there wasn't an event the day before ours, we were allowed to set up everything the day before so the day of the wedding wasn't stressful.

She absolutely ruined my wedding, said we had the venue, tables, chairs, all night until 12am yet she had her servers taking tables apart at 845p DURING the event. Instead of finishing the decor we discussed she found it more important to show other STRANGERS inside my event, even though when I previously came to see the venue I was turned away because there was an event going on. Completely unprofessional. Didn't have ANY cold drinks for my guests when they arrived at 2pm despite us dropping off all the beverages the day before. Yelling at guests, yelling at her own servers and bar tenders because she failed to get them ready for the event. She had no appetizers out during cocktail hour, my mother had to take her to the fridge to show her the appetizers that she BROUGHT TO HER that morning. Gave them to her directly yet she yelled at my mother saying we have no appetizers then didn't even apologize for being wrong. If she was a real woman of church she would have atleast offered some type of refund. Terrible place. Do not be like me and give her the benefit of the doubt, go elsewhere.
