Margherita Pizza and Stuffed Seafood Mushrooms
    Rob C.

My wife and I decided to cheat on the green mill with this place. Now let me say, If you're a fan of "bang for buck" - I recommend Andiamo. 1st off, the decor is simple but classy - I expected the food to be more expensive than it was. The server was nice, helpful and efficient. I was surprised to get unlimited bread before the meal (automatic bang for buck) that I'd Rank above olive garden (softer bread). My wife ordered the stuffed seafood mushrooms with pesto sauce. She said it was the best she's ever tasted I ordered a Margherita pizza - which at 1st bite was good but nothing too special. But then....I added some of the oil/sauce that was at the table my pizza and BOOM! Delicious. Taking advantage of the lunch special, those two hearty and fulling meals (and a ice tea) came out to about $27. Bang for buck. I'd highly recommend

My husband and I went here for dinner on a Saturday night. It was casually busy. Upon entering the establishment, the lighting makes the place warm and welcoming. The place was dimly lit, but you still have decent lighting at your table. They offer bar and table seating. I actually made a reservation online just in case. The place is casual. The staff are dressed in black. The staff members were friendly and approachable. FOOD: If you look at their website, all the asterisk next to the menu item is available as gluten-free. It didn't indicate that on their website, but it does on their menu at the restaurant. There is happy hour from 3pm-6pm and 9pm-close. They offer a lot of different choices from pasta, salad, pizza, and sandwiches. There was complimentary bread basket, which had garlic breadsticks and sliced baguette. No butter, but it doesn't need it. The breadsticks were warm. Even though that was delicious, my favorite was the bread. It was fluffy and not too dense. I had the Penne Al Forno, which I made the comment that it looks like pizza! (It was the pepperoni that spark that comment.) My husband ordered Tortelloni Alla Panna. Both dishes were delicious. Penne Al Forno is a hearty meat dish compare to Tortelloni Alla Panna. The broccoli in the Tortelloni Alla Panna was cooked al dente - just perfect. We also ordered the Cheesecake, which came with 2 spoons. It hazelnut on the cheesecake and raspberry sauce works with the dish to add that crunch/texture. Overall, we could come back for more. PARKING: There is free parking on site. Parking was full when we came at 6pm on Saturday. They do share the space with a few other businesses.

I've been to the Eagan location prior, but this was my first visit to the St. Paul location. I prefer this location. The waiter was very friendly and gave good suggestions. I had the cheeseburger with a side salad. My waiter recommended the house dressing. It was pretty darn good. The salad itself tasted a little earthy - not sure if the lettuce was washed thoroughly, but I'd skip that next time. The burger itself was great. My family really enjoyed their ravioli and lasagna dishes. We will definitely be back.

My husband and I happened upon this place one Sunday afternoon. There was no wait. The server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The music and decor was indicative of a touch of Italy. We ordered the margherita pizza and seafood stuffed mushrooms. It was phenomenal!

Andiamo is a great restaurant for date night or to catch up with friends. They are great at handling gluten free and have a lot of options. Gluten free food comes out with a sticker on the plate to make you feel safer. I got the special at the time Penne Calabrese with gluten free pasta and chicken, a limoncello spritz, creme brûlée, and gluten free bread. I loved the Penne Calabrese that has Calabrian pepper pesto, garlic, cream, basil, and parmesan . I hope they keep it on the menu! Service is always great here and they are great at answering any questions you may have.

Stopped in for the happy hour beer. $5. Not bad. They have a great pizza too. I always meet friendly people that aren't looking at their phones.

Service was top notch! Thanks, Christian. Nice bar with diverse viewing on the TV's over the bar. Andiamo burger was just a touch overdone but still delicious. The complimentary breadsticks weren't fabulous but okay. The spaghetti and meatballs are excellent and I'm eager to sample several other menu selections on my next visit to the Snelling Avenue location which will be very soon!!

A fan favorite from Woodbury and Eagan has now moved into Saint Paul serving Italian cuisine. Located in the old BWW space, this area needed something good and I'm very pleased on the decided selection. As this location is still getting up and running, they are working on the liquor license which should be completed very soon. I enjoy the transformation I'd the space and it feels very cozy. Hoping this is a great success for Andiamo as the food tastes just as good as the other locations. Enjoy!

Disgusting food. Terrible service. Staff is rude and what a terrible addition to St Paul. You're better off going to Olive Garden.

The service was impeccable from start to finish. Everything felt really intentional and well timed. The food was outstanding. The rigatoni was a standout with an incredible sausage that was honestly to die for. We also had the soles de pollo, a chicken ravioli with fresh vegetables in the sauce, and the flavors were amazing. For tapas, we ordered the patatas bravas and rissoles, both were delicious. Such a thoughtful touch when they brought out churro bites at the end as a thank you. Amazing food, top tier service, and a really fun but romantic atmosphere. Definitely a spot worth going out of your way for

It is a perfect spot for a date…read morenight or celebrating a special occasion, and is also just a lovely dinner spot with really good food! It is in the Mac-Groveland neighborhood so there is ample street parking nearby if you turn on any of the side streets. The restaurant does get busy at dinner, so I recommend making a reservation ahead of time. They have many unique options for cocktails and mocktails. I opted for the Slaychel which is a non-alcoholic beverage that I think of as an elevated mimosa. It is fruity, slightly tart, and delicious! The service was great! Our water was frequently refilled and never got empty, and our server asked about any allergies and dietary restrictions before we ordered. They were able to modify menu items to fit the different dietary restrictions! Two people in our party (including myself) are vegetarians and one member is gluten-free and also doesn't consume much dairy or eggs. They were able to serve the patatas bravas with the egg on the side and the grilled asparagus with the egg and cheese on the side so we were able to all share the starters. The patatas bravas were wonderful! The potatoes are perfectly crispy but still fluffy. The tomato sauce was slightly smokey and had a very slight kick (think Minnesota spice) and it balanced out well with the creamy tomato. If you're only going to try one appetizer, this is the one to try! The asparagus was also nice. The salsa verde had a slight kick (a bit more than the tomato sauce from the patatas bravas, but not super spicy. Still Minnesota level of spice). The shallots also added a nice crispy texture to the dish! The egg really stood out in this dish, with its runny yolk and batter coating. There were a lot of nice elements and textures. As for pastas, I split the Spaghetti and Radiatore with a friend. The Radiatore was nutty and tangy, and the serving size was generous. I enjoyed it, but I would order the Spaghetti over it any day! I don't even know how to describe the Spaghetti and do it justice. It was creamy, cheesy, delicious. Our server said it was a staff favorite, and I understand why. If you're looking for a vegetarian option, go with this one!! Even if you aren't a vegetarian, give it a try. It's so classic, and it's done so well. For dessert: they give free churros when you're dining in! They are served warm with a chocolate drizzle. We also ordered the Honey Cake which we enjoyed a lot! The cake itself was light, like a mousse. There was some crunch from the hazelnut praline and honeycomb toffee pieces. It was nutty and sweet but not overly sweet. It was a perfect way to finish off the meal! Estelle was delicious and the service was great! I can't wait to come back!

For this meal, we were all especially pleased to see persimmon gracing the menu. This lovely winter fruit added bright color, texture, and flavor to the dishes that it was incorporated into (I highly recommend them). I had it in the second course, a lovely salad that also contained endive, pear, radish, pine nuts and a wonderful layer of creamy taleggio. It was unique and very delicious. For my third course, I ordered the masa dumplings, which I have had before. Spoiler: they were just as good this time. With a pleasing firm but tender texture, these wonderful little dumplings hit just right. The Calabrian chili in the sauce adds a pleasant rosy color and a bit of warmth without being spicy (it's totally safe for your most Minnesotan dining companions). As always, it was beautifully plated. For my next course, I ordered the toasted farro, which is delicious, hearty, and comforting. The chewy grains combine beautifully with the umami from the cheese and porcinis to make a wonderfully substantial flavor and feel. Underneath it all, a bright basil pistou adds a pop of color to remind you that even though it's winter, spring is just around the corner. This is just a perfect dish for a cold, dark winter night. For dessert, I tried something new: the cream cheese tart. I chose wisely: this was a lovely winter dessert that was somewhat reminiscent of cheesecake (but definitely better). It was just the right amount of richness and perfectly balanced by a delicious pear compote and a layer of balsamic vinaigrette. Absolutely perfect. As always, I appreciated the awesome selection of N/A beverages. (The paNOma? Still my favorite!)

I have been here two times in the last week and lemme tell ya.. this is quite the spot. I do suggest making a reservation because everytime I go here it is popping! What a vibey place, the lights aren't too bright, it gives a hip, fun, light energy and is not too pretentious but has INCREDIBLE FOOD AND DRINKS. Right now, one of their specials is whitefish toast.. if you enjoy fish at all, you need this. The fish is light and fresh, they put fresh dill on top and it is placed on top of some toasted sourdough bread perfectly. The fish is flavorful, a lil earthy and I feel as if there are capers or olives in in the fish mixture, whatever it is is fire! The burrata, beets, and citrus is a nice lovely, fresh, light app, the burrata is perfection with the beets and fresh, juicy citrus, drizzled with some oil and random pieces of garlic mixed in, YUM. I suggest ordering bread on the side with this one! The wings here are a staple and always delish. Crispy, hot, and coated perfectly in a light sweet chili sauce.. they hit the spot everytime. The housemade ranch is a perfect dipper. The other day I tried the chorizo and scallops... oh my goodness gracious.. it was a lil spicy and creamy with the bean puree and the scallops were buttery, light and divine! 10 outta 10 would do again. Finally, got the goat cheesecake, gluten free ginger snap crust with poached pears. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE I want this now and in every lifetime! The cheesecake was light, yet decadent, deep, creamy with a light, unassuming flavor. The crust was delicious and the poached pears added that perfect fruit component. I got Liam as my server both times, he was helpful, attentive, had good suggestions when asked questions and didn't interrupt at all, amazing! This is the spot for any occasion!
