Crispy chicken, biscuits, gravy, and zero regrets. The Ricky Bobby Breakfast at Anderson's Tavern was unreal.

Exactly What Sherwood Needed Took my family to Anderson's Tavern and we sat by the window--perfect spot. The food was outstanding. Fresh, fast, and absolutely massive portions. Like, plan-on-leftovers massive. Lainey, the owner, was also our server, which made the whole experience even better. Friendly, attentive, and clearly proud of the food coming out of that kitchen--and she should be. Ordered the Ricky Bobby Breakfast Special (see photo) and wow. Crispy chicken, sausage gravy, biscuits, potatoes--every bite hit. Honestly, the portions were almost too big, and that's not a complaint. This place is exactly what Sherwood has been missing. Comfortable, welcoming, and seriously good food. We'll absolutely be back.

Food was amazing as was the service. Great decor. Awesome variety of gluten free options. Some of the best southern food we have ever had. We will definitely go back and this place will be a regular spot for sure.

Such great service, atmosphere and food! My husband used to be in the restaurant business and was impressed that a restaurant this new pulled off the perfect meal on a busy game night! We all loved our fried chicken and the collard greens are probably the best I've had! After hearing another customer rave about the fried green tomatoes, we had to order! So so delicious! Yay for something new in Sherwood!!

He gave us menus & said we could sit wherever we wanted, he showed us where their water station is in case we wanted water. Our server, Amber, came by & introduced herself and the bartender- I thought that was a nice touch to introduce the bartender. Having been a server for over 37 years, I really like it when staff work together & take care of each other! She asked if we wanted any beverages, my daughter ordered coffee & I said I was just going to grab a water- she said she would bring it to me. My daughter ordered corned beef hash & a gluten free english muffin- she was thrilled to have a gf option! I ordered the country benedict. Our food came out looking REALLY good, the potatoes were nice & golden brown. We both ordered our poached eggs medium & that is exactly how they came out. Everything was very delicious & the portions were large- we both need to-go boxes. The coffee was refilled 3 or 4 times without having to ask. They actually smoke their meats out on their patio which we thought was cool! The place was nice & clean, the staff was friendly & knowledgeable. Kudos to Amber, the bartender, & the chef! The only thing I didn't like was if you use a credit/debit card there is a fee. I very much recommend Three Mermaids!

Eclectic menu offering "bar food" but better. Had the Philly Dip sandwich with onion rings. All good. Sports bar feel with patio seating. A must come back for me.

This place is in a small strip mall right on 99W with Dottys on one side of it and a gun store on the other. And a very busy Asian buffet place around the corner. This is not a regular hangout for locals apparently. Most everyone there was quiet and kept to themselves. Most were sitting in front of an electronic casino game, oblivious to anyone and anything around them. The patrons all looked sullen and like they would rather be anywhere else but there. There really aren't any tables where you can just sit, out of the way, and enjoy a beer and a burger. It's just a very screwy layout there. Wait staff was pleasant but not very attentive. The bartender definitely acted like he wished he was somewhere else. Pool tables and the electronic games took up a LOT of real estate. Pool tables were not in use while I was there. Seems like there was always at least one person standing at the front door smoking so be prepared to inhale a lung full of second hand smoke whether you want it or not. That's why only three stars which is probably generous on my part. No specific complaints but this was just a dark, depressing venue with tobacco-addicted patrons who looked and seemed like they were just sitting around waiting to die. HIGHLY unlikely I will ever return.

I've waited a year to write this review. I wanted to make sure my anger had died down, but I'm…read morestill disgusted a full year later. We made a reservation for Thanksgiving 2024. It was the first year we didn't have family in town, so we were REALLY looking forward to a treat. They didn't have online reservations so I called, and had the gentleman read back the date, time, and name/number - which he did. We show up Thanksgiving Day and were told we didn't have a reservation. After some back and forth (they seemed to recognize who I had spoken to) we were seated at a table just outside the kitchen. It appeared to have been a staging table, as they hastily cleared it and it was bare of cutlery. We should have left. I appreciated being seated, but it went downhill from there. First, it took ages to take our drink order. We also noticed several empty tables in the main dining area although no one offered to move us. Dinners were at set times so it wasn't like anyone would be coming in. Next, we were served very small quantities of mediocre food. We had to ask for cutlery. We never got any rolls, butter, or cranberry sauce. The turkey was a few slices and a drumstick between both of us. At this point we figured they assumed we never had a reservation and were treating us accordingly. We've been to Trees many times but this was deplorable. The owner stopped by our table and asked if we were still hungry, then brought out some extra turkey for my husband. We told her our reservation had been lost, which you would think would prompt some attempt to make things better. No, in fact it didn't seem to phase her. We were both feeling ripped off, angry at the service, and shortchanged on food. The final straw was us seeing other tables with stacks of food, ample leftovers, and all the trimmings - cranberry sauce, rolls, butter, gravy, etc. That just infuriated us, as it was obvious we had been treated poorly on purpose. I'm usually very understanding when reservations snafus happen, but the way we were treated compared to other patrons prompts me to write this review. We will never return to Trees and have told many people about this experience. I would caution anyone planning a holiday dinner there to think twice. Thanks Trees for ruining a Thanksgiving.
