I woke up to a cold shower and all the water in my condo on Wednesday, 11/14/18. After spending an hour talking to my appliance service company (totalprotect) and speaking to 4 customer service representatives and 3 different providers, and 2 plumbers, my mother suggested I call Anderson's A1 Plumbing. The appliance service company (totalprotect) confirmed that company is in my area. Once speaking to Tiffany @ Anderson's A1 Plumbing, I felt relieved when they confirmed that the plumber (Josh) would be able to come and check on the problem. He arrived and confirmed that the hot water heater burner was toast! After checking with appliance service company (totalprotect) who had to order it to be shipped, it arrived 11/21/18 (day before Thanksgiving). Josh successfully installed the new Direct Vent hot water heater. His professionalism, knowledgeable of plumbing is fantastic. Josh has: Replaced my water heater; Installed a new toilet; Installed a new sink fixture and replaced the leaking sink drain line; Installed a new hose bib at the back of the house; and, yesterday Installed a new hose bib and and control valve at the front of the house. Each time, he has been professional, thorough, answered my questions, cleaned up any mess/debris, and offered a reasonable price. Each time, Tiffiney has worked with me to schedule a prompt and convenient appointment time, and called ahead to let me know when Josh is on the way to my house. And, the coup de grace, one time he let me know he'd be happy to clean the clogged main exterior drain line for me, but that the real problem had to be an issue in the City's main line, that if I called the City it would take care of its main, and that once the City did that my exterior line would likely run free with no help from him or cost to me. I had a clogged toilet for 24 hours. After contacting two other companies referred by my home warranty company, who either could not provide the service I needed or could not come to take care of the problem for 6 days, I was fortunate to get in touch with Anderson's A1 Plumbing. After working all day on another job, on Halloween, Josh came to my house at 6:00 in the evening and within a matter of minutes, took care of my problem. He also advised me that the type of toilet I had was not the type I should have. I told him finances were tight and he quoted what it would cost installed, but never pressured me beyond that explanation. Sometime during tropical storm Ida my sump pump quit. As if that weren't bad enough my hot water heater started leaking out the bottom. It additionally was Labor Day weekend. Now all of this I did not know till Saturday late afternoon. The water had drained off but anything on the concrete Floor was wet. I waited till after the holiday to call Anderson A1 and explained what I needed done to Tiffiney who was very sweet and helpful. She got an estimate together and called me back in 20 minute. She carefully took all the time my old brain needed to realize that this was an expensive repair that had to be done. The 75 gallon tank I requested was not available till the next day. Josh and his helper arrived the next morning having picked up the water heater and sump pump. They were both very efficient, diligent and knowledgeabl. My water heater broke over the weekend. Initially I purchased a replacement and pursued installation through the retailer. After much run around, my parents suggested Anderson's A1 Plumbing. We called and first thing the next morning they were out to look at the job. They were thorough and explained ever step they would need to take to replace the heater and bring it up to code as it has been some time since it the previous heater was installed. With the extra steps and parts I was afraid it would be extra expensive, especially considering I have a coworker who was having his replaced by another company in Southern MD and he was paying through the nose. It was not expensive at all. The pricing was more than fair. On top of that they were super friendly and did a great job with the install. Last month when I purchased my new home, I purchased a Home Warranty with it. When the garbage disposal didn't operate, the Home Warranty company contacted Anderson's A1 Plumbing to come to my home and assess the situation. Tiffany called immediately to set up an appointment. Water was leaking from our toilet and it seemed to be gushing out of the wall behind the toilet. My husband turned off all the water in the house so we were really inconvenienced. He called this plumber on a Sunday afternoon. Someone answered promptly and scheduled an appointment for the next morning! The plumber showed up on time as promised . I just recently bought my house and was given a warranty from the sellers and Anderson's was assigned to me after my claim to them. They came out to my house to unclog my kitchen sink drain. They were very friendly and professional and pointed out mistakes I made while trying to conduct the repair myself. They spent over an hour getting the years of buildup grease and gunk from the drain. We are ever thankful for them coming out and completing this repair and I would recommend them to anyone in their coverage area. Josh from Anderson's A1 came out yesterday to fix our plumbing issue and was wonderful. We just bought a house two months ago and had the one year home warranty that came along with it. Last Friday I had an emergency bc my sub pump went out and my basement had some flooding. I called many places and they couldn't come out till Monday and I have 2 small children and that would have been a nightmare! Josh took the time last minute on a Friday and saved the day!
