Was supposed to move today. After the movers hadn't showed up, I called them to find out what happened. Turns out they just forgot to send a team and a truck. Yep, just forgot. After planning everything to be moved on a certain day, Anderson had no problem screwing me and my family over. Then they lied about what had actually happened and tried to blame every one else under the sun except take responsibility for their mess up. Don't use this company. You can't trust them. read more

Do yourself a favor and don't hire these movers. They work for North American Van Line out of Charleston, SC and they are terrible. First, I made an appointment to have someone come out to my house and give me a quote and he was one and a half hours late. Then, there was the issue of dealing with the office staff. They were very nice rude and had an attitude as if they were doing me a favor when the fact was that I paid very well for the move. The only reason I hired them is because I was on a tight schedule to make the move. Finally, the two men who made the move (i.e. Chris and Louis) shamelessly stole 10 of my boxes. Had I known they were going to be such low life's, I would not have tipped them as well as I did. So, heed my suggestion, do not hire North American Van Lines if the company actually doing the move is Anderson Transfer of South Carolina. read more

Anderson Transfer is a terrible moving company. The staff is very rude. They treat the customers as if they were doing the customers a favor. They do not answer phone messages or emails. As if that were not enough,their movers are thieves. A considerable amount of my move was stolen and even though I filed a claim I have not received any compensation even though it has been over seven months since I moved. This reflects very poorly on North American Van Lines, which is the moving company for which Anderson Transfer acts as an agent. Do yourself a service and do not hire Anderson Transfer. read more

My worst moving experience. I don't even know where to begin. First, the movers stole multiple of my belongings. They stole glasses, various purses, pots, my money jar, tools were missing. They took over 10,000 dollars worth of items. They ate my food from the refrigerator, took my husbands beer, left trash behind. They did not have the proper tools to do the job, had to use my husbands tools, which in return they left behind. I caught the movers laying down in my rooms. Killing time. I had to tell the movers to pack certain items because they were leaving them behind. They did not bring the pallets to pack my motorcycles so much for prior inventory. The workers are lazy and it was by far the worst experience with a moving company. read more

I was very pleased with the service I received from beginning to end. The ladies in the office were helpful at explaining everything to me. The guys that packed and loaded us were very pleasant and extremely careful with my things. We had to change the delivery date and they were very understanding and accommodated us. I have moved a few times in my career but never have I had to deal with anything like this. I got short fuse orders and had to move across country, the movers came out and things seemed to going well. Well of course I didn't pay attention to the small codes that they wrote on the paperwork, after getting to California and having my things delivered the horror story began. My dresser was broken, my TV stand was broken, I'm still looking for my ps4 games, a watch was stolen, might stand damaged, bed storage broken, and the list goes on. Here's the bad part the codes used on the forms were all lies. They said my brand new mattress was SO,ST,F,W meaning soiled, stained, faded, worn but I just bought it and my gamer chair was SO, ST,F,W,T,Z but again all lies and if able I'll post pictures showing the lies. My glass tv stand is completely broken and I could honestly go on for days thank God that I can dispute it through the proper channels. read more
