I started my journey with Dr. Aimee 10 years ago, when I first went to see her about freezing my…read moreeggs. At the time, I wasn't ready to start a family, but I wanted to keep my options open. I didn't have a lot of eggs, so I had to undergo several retrievals. As I got older, the quality of my eggs also declined. At my last retrieval, when I was 40, Dr. Aimee recommended trying PRP. She was very honest with me that it was a newer procedure, but that the results were promising. I ended up retrieving just two eggs. We created embryos, and incredibly, we ended up with one healthy baby boy and one healthy baby girl. Our son--the little boy my husband had always hoped for--came from one of those eggs I retrieved at age 40. With Dr. Aimee's help, I became pregnant through IVF, and we welcomed our beautiful son, who is now 2 1/2 years old. When we decided we wanted a second child, my previous delivery had been difficult, so we made the decision to use a surrogate. Once again, Dr. Aimee was there for us every step of the way. She connected me with multiple agencies, and I didn't have to wait long before finding an amazing surrogate who had been screened by Dr. Aimee. She was local, which meant I was able to be part of the pregnancy and birth journey in a way that was incredibly special to me. I also had a difficult time finding an in-network doctor we felt comfortable with, and Dr. Aimee personally recommended someone and helped make the connection. She went above and beyond--not just as our fertility doctor, but as someone who genuinely cared about helping us complete our family. Our healthy baby girl was just born, and she is absolutely perfect. I am so incredibly grateful to Dr. Aimee and her amazing team for everything they have done for our family over the past 10 years. They have been there for us through every stage of this journey, and I truly don't know what our family would look like without them. My husband jokes that if Dr. Aimee told me to jump off a bridge, I probably would. And honestly, he's right. That's how much I trust her. She is kind, compassionate, brilliant, honest, and direct. She always has her patients' best interests at heart and works tirelessly to help them achieve their dreams of building a family. I will be forever grateful to Dr. Aimee for helping us bring our two beautiful children into the world. She didn't just help us have babies--she helped us complete our family. I cannot recommend her and her team highly enough.

After many years, my husband and I decided to try again. This time, we went through his insurance. We had such a horrible experience with the other clinic, we moved our leftover embryos back with Dr. Aimee. She gladly accepted to help us with our second. I cannot praise Dr. Aimee enough! She is a literal angel on earth. The reason we went to Dr. Aimee for our first son was because we didn't want to be treated like another number on a conveyor belt and she did not disappoint. Dr. Aimee goes above and beyond what anyone could ever expect as a patient. She has amazing bedside manners, she's hilarious and she answers any and all questions very thoroughly - I always wonder how she sleeps. If results didn't go our way, she showed us so much compassion. We never felt like another number/statistic and that's more than you can ever ask for while going through the stress of IVF. She might not take insurance, but you definitely get what you pay for. I've been with her for 2 retrievals, 6 years apart resulting in my 2 beautiful babies. We cannot thank Dr. Aimee enough! I've seen her practice expand and it's exciting to see how many more people she's able to help. Her team is AMAZING, warm and comforting. They communicate and troubleshoot issues efficiently and effectively. I never had any surprises with procedures or billing. We would recommend her a million times over because she is such a gem in Healthcare and an amazing human being. Thank you Dr. Aimee for helping us expand our family two times!! Saying we are greatful for Dr. Aimee is an understatement. We get to cherish our beautiful babies because of you. We love you!

Not only did he have to deal with my questions he only had to deal with me and all of my pregnancy hormones and he did it with grace and a smile. My deliveries went well and I felt confident having Dr Eyvazzadeh by my side. He encouraged me through the hardest times of my labor and never seemed rushed or in a hurry. I always felt like me and my children were in the best hands possible. His staff is amazing. Lily always greets my family with love and a smile. She is so kind with my kids and always goes out of her way to make us feel special. My kids enjoy finding their birth announcements and Christmas cards on his wall and enjoy meeting the man who delivered them. Dr Eyvazzadeh comes out and socializes with my small children, not because he has to, it's because this is the man he is. So caring. So kind. I recommend this practice highly. If you're looking for an Obgyn, stop your looking and give them a call. I always tell Dr Eyvazzadeh he can NEVER retire! Lol..... because it will be a very sad day to many of us if he ever chooses too. I have a lot of respect to him.

He spent about 10 min talking to me and made me very uncomfortable from the beginning. Afterward, he had decided I needed to do an ultrasound even though I had already done one recently within the last few months, which I did mentioned to him. I had agreed to it at that time and looking back I shouldn't have. He was really rough during the trans-vaginal ultrasound hurt a lot (note I've done over a dozen trans-vaginal ultrasounds in the past and they should not be this painful). Not only that but he also made rude, unnecessary and unprofessional comments during the ultrasound about how much fecal matter there was. In the end, he concluded everything looked fine, which of course it would because I had just done an ultrasound a few months prior. My guess for this extraneous ultrasound is that he wanted to collect more money from me and my insurance. The doctor has been trying to collect money for this procedure and his office has been mailing it to the wrong address for the last 8 months until now that he finally got right mailing address. And they are threatening to send this bill to "collection services" because I haven't paid. I don't understand why they couldn't have called me to settle the bill. Either way, I would definitely not recommend this doctor if you are looking for a kind and caring professional doctor with a good team, this is not the place to go.

When Dr. Oliveira moved from Pleasanton (Valley Health) to Palo Alto Medical Foundation, I was disappointed. I knew that moving to a bigger, more institutionally oriented group wasn't going to sit well with me, and knew that wait times would be longer, staff would be less personable, my identity would be less important. I am happy to say that I was 100% wrong. Even being "new" to this medical group, I waited the shortest period of time I have ever waited, I was greeted warmly by the reception staff, the nurse took extra time to chat personally with me, and was totally unrushed in taking my vitals, discussing med history and so forth. Dr. Oliveira has been my favorite doctor since I began seeing her. She's quick witted, articulate, intelligent, extremely knowledgeable and committed. I see her very infrequently, and yet, each time, without fail, she remembers family member names, occupations, events from years ago. She shows her "human" side with ease, is comfortable discussing anything and as such, makes the patient feel comfortable. I cannot think of a high enough recommendation to give to a woman in need of an extraordinary physician.

I began seeing Dr. Matthews in October 2023 after learning I was pregnant. From the beginning, I shared that I was also working with midwives and hoped to pursue a home birth if my pregnancy progressed safely. At no point during the early months of my care was I told that she does not co-manage patients with midwives or that this would prevent her from continuing as my OB. On April 5, 2024 -- at 30 weeks pregnant and classified as high-risk -- I received a notice stating she would no longer be able to continue my care because she does not "co-manage" with midwives. This was the first time I was informed of such a policy. I asked for clarification and received no meaningful response beyond confirmation that she would not continue my care. Being dismissed that late in pregnancy, especially as a high-risk patient, created unnecessary stress and made it extremely difficult to secure a new OB. Many providers are unwilling to take on high-risk patients deep into the third trimester. Beyond the sudden termination of care, I did not feel supported in my birth preferences throughout my time as her patient. My concerns were often minimized, and the communication around this decision lacked transparency and compassion. I ultimately filed a complaint with my insurance and pursued additional reporting. Clear policies and honest conversations at the beginning of care matter. No patient should find out at 30 weeks that their provider will no longer treat them for reasons that could have been addressed months earlier. I'm sharing this so other patients can ask direct questions about co-management policies before committing to care.

I have many pre existing conditions and unlike my first OB she did not shy away from helping me through this pregnancy. She was very informative and made me feel at ease. A lot of the reviews mention that she makes you feel rushed but I don't get that feeling from her. She does speak fast but she is very informative and thorough during her exams and always asks if I have any questions or concerns. My best friend lives in San Lorenzo and recommended her. I live an hour away and chose to use her as my OBGYN (with no regrets) and even delivered here in San Ramon Regional.. She is always able to accommodate me when I need to change my appointment and I have no regrets choosing her and have continued care here again with my second pregnancy. Her staff is also very personable and always asks how I have been and how my daughter is. We have exchanged toddler stories and they always greet me by my first name with a smile.

The only thing they cared is to put on a mask up to your nose till your chin. - The receptionist wasn't professional to answer questions, no smile, no pleasant welcoming. - The nurse is the same, no information on what are the next step, what should I expect, etc. I had to ask her every time about the next step while I was there. And her response gave an impression that she doesn't like when I ask her questions 2) Doctor Vogel - I shouldn't be shocked at her behavior after how her staff made me feel there. But as I said earlier, the only thing they cared is to follow a policy of having a mask covering 80% of my face. I understand their concern but it shouldn't be in such an unprofessional and harsh way. Here is a detailed story: I had my own mask and because I had nose surgery a while ago, I use a washable/reusable mask only that is also lightweight. The receptionist asked to pull my mask up to the nose until my eyes and I informed her that I had nose surgery, I need to keep it like this as it hurts. Then she started "oh, we can't let you in, it is our policy, bla, bla". I said ok. She gave me their own plastic type of mask, I put it on. Then the nurse came, and the same conversation to raise my mask up until my eyes. I informed her also about my nose surgery, its pain, etc. but I still raised it again. Then, while I was waiting for doctor Vogel in a room, I put my mask below my eyes but it still covered my mouse and nose. As soon as she entered the room, without even introducing herself, she jumped on to raise my mask and pushed it hard so I keep it there. It hurt my nose. I said doctor I had nose surgery and it hurts. She didn't even apologize for hurting me, causing pain, and continued her conversation as if nothing happened. Despite of informing the entire staff about my pain and the reason not to raise the mask up until the eyes, they focused too much on their mask policy. I booked that appointment because I had concerns about my pregnancy, something wasn't going right. Instead of focusing on my pregnancy concerns, they only worried about how high I raised and keep my mask. And today, I got a surprise bill of up to $200. I asked them to inform me in advance if my insurance covers it and provided them with all the information in advance. I had a miscarriage, and when she checked she said that everything is fine... :( Not blaming her for it but didn't have a great experience as I expected. I hope after this review, they will make positive changes by prioritizing their customers and provide a more professional service.
