Once they got approvals they needed, they removed the roof in one day, did a test portion, got the inspector approval and finished it on another day. Like with our neighbor's house, they kept the area around the house cleaned every day. They replaced all the rain gutters and painted or replaced all the pipes/vents to match the roof color. It turns out he has "lost confidence" and abandoned the job. He said he tried to tell my wife before leaving, but she was unaware of this. When I spoke to Cody on the phone he indicated that I didn't owe him anything, and did offer to put me in touch with someone he felt could do the job. I didn't go with his recommendation mainly because I didn't have enough trust in him to make that choice. The guy I did hire was able to reuse some of the cut tile Code had left, but we needed to buy 5 more sheets nevertheless. There may be lots of things Cody is good at, but tiling a backsplash with herringbone tile sheets is not one of them, and abandoning a job is just not OK.
