Stay away! I first took my dog to Dr. Anderson because she had an infection and her face was swollen. After seeing Dr. Anderson, the infection continued to get worse. I took my dog for an emergency appointment to my vet in Illinois and learned the medications I was given for my dog would have never gotten rid of the infection and was told her face would have burst because it was so bad and/or she could have died.
I later took my beloved cat to Dr. Anderson to get his nails trimmed. My cat my panting and looked distressed. I asked Anderson if I could leave my cat with him because I was worried about driving home with Toby who was clearly not doing well. Dr. Anderson told me Toby would be fine if I drove straight home. I drove straight home and my cat was dead five hours later. I have later learned that no credible vet would have let a cat leave his office in that condition.
If you want to take your animal to a vet with poor judgement and have them die, call Dr. Anderson. If you want good quality care, go elsewhere. This man is the worse vet I have ever seen. read more
