Last March I had surgery on my left ankle and literally could not walk! I got to Andersen Physical Therapy and I honestly was afraid that I was going to be judged because of them thinking that I was making a big deal out of nothing BUT it was quite the contrary! They were so welcoming and non judgemental and it started with my therapist Jon Andersen! When he did my intake, he asked me what I thought about aquatic therapy and I asked him what he recommended and his exact words were " if you were my sister I would recommend aquatic therapy" and to me that truly made me feel as though it wasn't just a job and I wasn't just a patient but that he truly cares and that he truly cares about my care individually and that he truly has a passion for what he does! Throughout my first few weeks, I had Fernando, Lane, and Kang truly help me on the land side of things while I was waiting to get into the pool! They took their time and really focused on me and that made me feel important! When I first got into the pool, I literally could not walk! I was falling over and had to hold on to a noodle to walk across the pool! Hannah, Noemi, Andres, Fernando PTA, and Jenny through the course of my time in the pool not only helped me to walk again but I never thought I would ever be able to wear heels again and I got married last Friday December 16th and was able to wear heels and my feet did not hurt! Yes, I did the work, but if it wasn't for them I would have never been able to walk in heels again! Thank you! Since then, I recently had carpal tunnel and çubital tunnel surgery and have been going to the hand therapy department and Derek Robinson my Occupational therapist along with Phary, Alfredo, Christina, and Liz have all been incredible in helping to strengthen my hand and arm! I had absolutely no strength in my hand whatsoever, but through the therapy and again I did the work but I now have more strength in my hand then I have had all year long and it is honestly because of them! They care! They truly have a passion for what they do as well as for the patient's they take care of! Thank you guys! I also have been going to aquatic therapy now for fibromyalgia and I tell you what, I have had Noemi, Jenny, Hannah, Danielle, Fernando PTA, Fernando Aide, Lane, Kang, Noah, and Boris in there with me at times! It's been the most incredible experience throughout the last year and a half and they have taken what have been some really really hard situations and made them so much easier to handle and I'm so grateful for each and every one of them! I will never forget them and all they have done for me as well as the love and kindness that they have shown not only me, but all all their patients! I don't want to forget the ladies at the front desk! Cheryl, Monique, Alma, and Molly as well as all the other ladies up front are so welcoming and always greet you with a smile and are genuine and kind! And they always worked very hard to get my authorizations for more visits as quick as possible! They are wonderful, respectful, and downright great ladies and I appreciate each and every one of you! I have been going to Andersens Physical Therapy for my back and neck now my shoulder. I loved how my Physical Therapist John took the time to read all the doctors notes did the measurements needed to get started. I didn't even have to tell him my ortho doctor didn't want me to anything but water or stationary bike exercises. John knew just by looking at my chart water therapy was the best option. He got my doctor to approve it and get it started. Water therapy to me doesn't feel stressful or tiring. There girls in there are amazing. Ashley and Tania take the time to listen to each patient and where their pain level is before starting. They will modify each exercise to ensure you are not in alot of pain. I have been to therapists before not naming them that were obviously just there for their money. They would mainly work with men and sports jocks to talk to them. I had to remember all of my exercises and don them on my own. When it came to reassessments they just assumed I needed more and kept continuing it with the doctor no communication with me. I know at Andersens they care about their patients and well being. John will come to the water therapy side and check on his patients. The girls will continue checking in everyday with a survey to keep John aware of the progress to see if I need to continue. This place is amazing and great staff even the front desk is amazing. My surgeon sent me to Anderson's because he knows they are the best game in town. I had a Total Knee Replacement and physical therapy is required after that surgery or the surgery might not come out right. My therapists, Danielle and Stephanie, led by Lyle Anderson, have made major improvements in my range of motion and reduced the pain level that just goes along with this surgery. When I arrive for my appointment, there is no waiting, they take me in immediately. Both therapists are highly skilled, professional, compassionate and listen to the patient. To say they are both awesome would be an understatement. I actually look forward to my therapy sessions even though they can be slightly painful, because I know with this surgery to get a gain you will have a little pain. Danielle and Stephanie know how to minimize the pain and still get a major result. Anderson Physical Therapy is a well oiled machine that will always get the job done right. I had a total shoulder replacement in November. I started going to Andersen's one week after my surgery. I have been to others in the past, but believe me when I say not all Physical Therapy centers are the same. I have actually done harm to myself in the past without the proper guidance and therapists. I had my doctor send me to Andersen even though my appointment had already been set up elsewhere. I absolutely love their new facility! It has more room and is state of art, including an underwater treadmill and a swimming pool with a lift for paraplegic or quadriplegic patients. Their PT's and PT Aides have diverse specialties so there will be someone there qualified to help you and set up a plan no matter what your need happens to be. I've never met a more professional and compassionate group of people! I had shoulder surgery in April 2022 And I started going to Anderson's physical therapy in June 2022. The staff is very friendly but there's one person that stands out and comes to mind and his name is Freddie. Freddy is friendly he's a very good therapist he's compassionate he's truthful he's very kind and he's very caring. My physical therapy was hard but somehow I Freddy made it not easy I guess for he made it enjoyable, yes it was painful but with Freddy I was comfortable and I could tell him when it hurt what did hurt what didn't hurt one time I even screamed during physical therapy and Freddy did jump and we just laughed about it. I just started my second session of aquatic therapy last week. The trainers that have worked with me are amazing. They work extremely hard to make sure everyone is getting a beneficial experience in the pool. They make each session a comfortable and rewarding workout. They are very knowledgeable about the exercise programs for each person. The added benefit which is very important to me is that they are always kind, friendly & caring. They always smile, greet me, ask how I'm feeling, monitor my exercises throughout each session and provide an upbeat atmosphere. The positivity is just as important as the aquatic exercise, which gives me the best outcome to deal with my health problems. A special thank you to Ashley & Tania who have worked with me the most. I've been going here for the past 6 weeks for my knee before my surgery and I have improved so much with their help here. They are so nice and attentive, but also really push you to your limits. They also really help time pass with their fun and engaging conversations. They remember you the next time you come in making you feel very comfortable. Pam is an amazing aide! I really enjoyed having her for the majority of my time here, she does so well with her job. Hannah and Eva are also 2 very awesome aides to have around. If you're going to request anyone to stretch you out, have Jimmy do it! He is the man of the year and is great at his job. I came into Anderson with NO mobility in my leg after a total knee replacement. The staff were very courteous and professional. I particularly liked one of the aides that worked with me that first day. His name is Evan. I asked if it would be possible for me to work with him each time because he made me feel comfortable and gave me encouragement that I was progressing. They made it possible for me to have continuous care by Evan which I really liked because it gave me a feeling of security knowing he knew what I needed to progress. I would recommend Anderson Physical Therapy to anyone who needs to have that service and really wants to gain back their mobility. I started going to APT in Oakdale after I was in a accident I came in, in a wheelchair and with the help of Lyle and D I finished a portion of my therapy walking, unfortunately because of the accident I had to continue my therapy at the Modesto location in their hand clinic where Jolene, Lori and Kayla have been so helpful I'm getting movement in my hand again. I have continued working with Jon and D on my shoulder and have made good improvement, I would recommend APT for anyone who needs therapy. They even have a pool and underwater treadmill I wished they would have had that when I was working on my ankle. I am a Veteran and I was referred by my Doctor (Veteran's Hospital of Palo Alto) to Andersen PT. I had a partial knee replacement and needed help getting my strength back. The process after surgery can be very frustrating as it is painful and hard to get around. The staff at Andersen's was very patient with me, and I left each appointment in better spirits than when I walked in. It was a long recovery, but I would not be where I am today without their help. I have finally finished my 3 months of Thumb /Hand physical therapy. I just started back to my job in Dental Hygiene . As you can imagine it was imperative that full recovery in all hand function be present. I can't lie it was a tough road. Each appointments had calculated therapies with upward improvement until I recovered.. I owe it to my team.. PT hand specialist, Lori Wade and Sheri Andersen. I wanted to share my experience at Andersen Physical Therapy. While the therapy staff was very helpful. Its starts at the front desk. And I cant say enough about MARIA. She is so professional yet sweet at the same time. I always get a great smile from her. And she always is friendly and ask how my day went. I had physical therapy as a last ditch effort to avoid a knee replacement. The two young ladies in the pool area were excellent. They were both on task with the other clients, very little socializing. They were very patient with me. I had no down time in the pool as I was either doing an exercise or being instructed in an exercise. I had at least six sessions and made progress in knee strength and reduction of pain. I will be seeing the orthopedic surgeon in about a month for a reevaluation of my knee. Anyhow, I was very pleased with my treatment and progress. read more

I started physical therapy at Andersen's after my total knee replacement surgery on November 8 and had my last session today. My progress has been very good. I appreciated that I worked the same therapy assistant every time. Jackie had high expectations for my success and worked me hard, but also encouraged me as my range of motion and strength improved. I had to go for a second round of physical therapy and I was once again referred to Andersen Physical Therapy. If round one was good round two was better. The treatment they have is phenomenal but what is more phenomenal are the workers. The new office is amazing. Very clean and modern. The front staff is friendly and efficient. The physical therapy staff is awesome. I like the fact that I have the same physical therapist each time I go. Jon is very knowledgeable. Danielle is awesome. She is friendly and kind. I go to Anderson's 3 days a week for physical therapy and everyone from check in till I leave is great. One person named marianna was absolutely fabulous,she made me feel so comfortable and we laughed and really enjoyed each others company. I am very ticklish so when she rubbed my neck I could not stop giggling which made her giggle which made the visit an unforgettable experience. I would reccomend this place to anyone.
