This service could be 5+ stars but they lose it in the details. I'll give it four because I loved the view and overall it was a fun experience. Now, onto the details that could be improved. Our boat captain seemed pretty disinterested most of the time, occasionally pointing out sights but we had to ask him for information most of the time. He spent a lot of time on his phone, occasionally driving too fast over the waves, we actually got completely soaked at one point. We also never got the advertised and promised homemade limoncello, which was kind of disappointing. Despite missing out on the finer details, it was a beautiful ride around Capri.

He's good natured and offers some unique surprises, our first day with him we dove for fresh sea urchins to harvest as an afternoon snack. He also brought along a wine from his small village. I'd probably skip any cave tours (he can take you to them), but they are operated by others. The one we stopped in was small and not super exciting for the EUR. Also when we were dropped off in Capri for a few hrs he connected us with a taxi driver (Giuseppe) that took us around, but charged us more than expected (quoted 120 EUR and asked for 200 EUR). Boating is clearly Pepe's passion and he did an expert job taking us around, I'd recommend him.

You are dealing here with a family business, not a large company, so it is all bespoke and you can do whatever you want. We chartered a boat for our family of four in July 2021 and Pepe's son, Lorenzo, took us out. Our entire family quickly fell in love with Lorzeno and his relaxed nature and ready smile that puts you at ease and sets the tone for an amazing, beautiful and memorable experience. In fact, it was one of the most incredible days of our month-long trip in Italy and the family is still talking about it as the highlight of our vacation. In our case, we chose to explore the small coves around Capri, skipping the touristy Blue Grotto, and Lorenzo knew them all and shared the folklore associated with each. We were never rushed or on a schedule and could stop to snorkel for as long as we wished whenever we wanted. We had asked for beer rather than prosecco and he had plenty with water and snacks to accompany. It certainly felt that we were with a friend. This is very fairly priced and a true value for the experience. We will certainly book another trip with them on our next trip to Marina Del Cantone. BTW, they also have a restaurant, Le Sirene and a hotel in Marina del Cantone, which we would highly recommend.

The ferries and large boats go to Marina Piccola. Marina Grande is where we met our captain for our boat tour to the Amalfi Coast and where a lot of other groups were launching from. The marina itself was easier to get to that I thought. The decline was gentle on our knees. The incline, heading back to our Airbnb, is actually quite kinder than I thought while I was going down and it wasn't too hard for someone like me, who isn't fit at all, to make it. Add, being in the sun, on a boat all day and I'd say it was almost easy, so no worries if you have any. There are stunning views from this marina and quite a few restaurants and bars to hang out at. The best part for me was the metal dock that you can walk out onto and see Marina Piccola. You can also look down into the crystal clear water. Just lovely!

He knows the Amalfi Coast inside and out! He speaks perfect English and he is a walking history book. He will take the time to understand your needs and help you custom plan your itinerary. We had the great surprise of engaging in a few tours he offered that were literally off the charts. We went on amazing hikes seeing ancient waterfalls thru acres of pristine lemon groves. We took a cooking class in the kitchen of a gorgeous restaurant-side by side with the master chef. We went on a private boat tour along the Amalfi Coast with detours to cave dive and eat in a hidden gem of a fishing town. My only regret was there was not enough time to see and do all the wonderful tours he recommended. Marco makes you feel like a friend who has come to visit Italy for the first time and he wants to show you what you may not otherwise get to see. His beautiful villa was located off of one of the staircases. There were about 10 or 12 other people. By the end of the night, we were such great friends, that's how Peter brought us all together. He had in-depth explanations, the food sourcing from Italy, where the local ingredients were caught/grown, how to ensure that it is organic, etc. He has an extensive wine cellar in the basement that we did wine tasting in. Super aromatic red wines that he has. We cooked fish, made appetizers, chopped tons of vegetables for risotto, made Oso Buco. He showed us how to cook, gave us instructions for our benefit at home. We sat outside on the bench type seating with beautiful views of the coast. I would love for Chef Peter to come to San Diego as he said he may.
