I had high expectations for Gianni's boats, especially since we paid €240 for a boat ride around Capri. The process it self is easy to book and the boat ride was stunning. This service could be 5+ stars but they lose it in the details. I'll give it four because I loved the view and overall it was a fun experience. Now, onto the details that could be improved. Our boat captain seemed pretty disinterested most of the time, occasionally pointing out sights but we had to ask him for information most of the time. He spent a lot of time on his phone, occasionally driving too fast over the waves, we actually got completely soaked at one point. We also never got the advertised and promised homemade limoncello, which was kind of disappointing. Despite missing out on the finer details, it was a beautiful ride around Capri. read more

We couldn't have asked for a better day at sea than the one we had experienced with Giannis Boats. Our captain Lorenzo was extremely hospitable and took us to all the little spots around Capri. We were picked up at Praiano and went along the picturesque Amalfi before heading to Capri. The boat was large and comfortable, allowing the 4 of us to layout and relax on the journey. My husband and I decided to go with Gianni thanks to all the reviews on trip advisor and one yelp review. I had our hotel front desk book a trip with him past minute and he was able to accommodate. Hi father Antonio took us out and we had a wonderful time. Even though it is way too cold to enter the water, we still had a relaxing time. The tides were also too high for entry into the blue grotto, therefore Antonio took us to his version of the grotto without the entrance fee. When the sun hit the water from the other side, the water illuminated a beautiful blue. We also saw a lot of jelly fish in the area. Very cool! He went around pointing out famous people villas on the coastline including the Swarovski lady's place. Towards the end of the ride, the tides were picking up and it was a bit rocky. However, Antonio was as calm as can be and told us not to worry. We both felt very safe. Overall, a great experience. I would definitely recommend taking a trip with Gianni or Antonio :) read more

Unbelievable morning with my Wife on the water of Capri! Fabrizzio treated us like nothing short of royalty. We swam in all private swimming coves and grottos (we went to the finestrella or 'little window' grotto - the highlight of the experience, the green grotto, the 'three sisters', lovers cove and other coves). They let you bring your own food and wine which was a great perk and provide towels, boat pillows, etc. We were able to swim in the green lagoon and jump off the boat into amazing water. We took the 3 hour tour with Antonio and he was wonderful. This boat ride was def a highlight of our trip. We didn't get to go into the blue lagoon as I think the tide was already too far up but we did manage to boat around the entire island while drinking aperol spritz. Communication before the tour with Gianni was great and our boat was also really nice. I have to assume all his boats are similar and the cushions and pillow setup on them was fantastic! read more

Ok, I procured Gianni's services three years ago for an all day tour to the amalfi coast and it was the best day of my life (well, maybe my son being born would be the best--but this is definitely second). Paolo (related to Gianni) was such a great tour guide that I remember his name from a tour that I took three years ago. Truthfully the beautiful scenery of the coast is all that is needed to make this a world class experience. However, this surpassed all of my expectations. He had a cooler with wonderful limoncello already stocked and we brought Peroni's on board. He volunteered to let us plug our iPhone in the boat's stereo system. There was nothing better than listening to Kenny Chesney's "Summertime" on a boat in Capri, looking at rock formations where Zeus had supposedly once stood, and drinking a cold Peroni. I am not sure what his pricing is these days, but whatever it is, you will not be disappointing. It truly is one of the best highlights of my life. read more

Fantastic experience. We got to jump and swim inside multiple caves. And got to know more about Capri. And the history. At first I was a little worried that it would be touristy and not worth the money but it was definitely worth it. Our tour guide was amazing. And they made sure we had a great time. I would highly recommend. They even dropped us off on the other side of the island from where we started. And were great about helping us celebrate our friends birthday. Ok, whatever you have planned or not planned to do while in Capri, drop it and make sure you tour around the island with Gianni!! In our two weeks of honeymooning all over Italy this has been our favorite thing! So romantic and so much fun! First off, the tour itself was beautiful! There are plenty of peddlers that can claim to give you the "same tour" but don't listen, because after our ride back to the hotel the other couples were all jealous of our tour because theirs couldn't compare! Many of the guides treat tourists like animals, just in it for the money.. But Gianni is different, he treats you like family, as soon as we got on he told us "this boat is your boat, enjoy it how you wish!" And we felt right at home! It was friendly informative and even funny! Couldn't have asked for a better guide around the island! He even gave us dinner recommendations for Capri and Naples! We took the 3 hour tour starting at 2:30 and it was perfect! Although cloudy during the day, the sun was out in the afternoon and the sea was calm! We got to hear all about the most interesting stories and myths of the island while getting up close views of the beautiful grottos. And we even were able to take swimming breaks and just soak up the sun while floating in the clear, blue sea! We never felt rushed and even when the sun drifted beyond the mountain, Gianni offered to move to another sunny swimming area for us to stay warm and enjoy our time. Gianni let us hop off the boat and swim in the blue grotto even though forbidden and he even played our wedding song on his stereo as we slowly pulled away! Oh, and how could I forget the Limoncello!? It's made by his mother and clearly made with love! he gave us a few glasses and it was awesome touring around this beautiful island sipping the nectar of the gods! We booked the 3 hour tour based on the yelp reviews and it was fantastic. The boat was clean comfortable and the tour was incredible as you go around the entire island. Our guide was Chiro and he was v knowledgeable having lived in Capri all of his life. We skipped the blue grotto tour as the line was incredibly long but Chiro showed us a smaller blue grotto which my boyfriend actually swam through, a green one and many more sights such as the arch of love, the three sisters etc. we also ordered lunch from Gianni's mama which was delicious including antipasti, main dessert and drinks. Nothing quite like dining in a cove I even managed in a sun nap and it was extremely relaxing as no crowds etc. there was no rush to get off the boat they even ask midway through if you need to use the restroom. We booked a Super Gozzo in Capri with Gianni's Boats for an 8 hour excursion and had the best day of our 10 day Italy vacation! Diego took us around the whole island of Capri and was very knowledgeable and entertaining with his information of the island - We saw everything there was to see. Gianni is simply amazing. The ride in supergozzo was like a dream come true. We traveled to amalfi and Positano and had lunch in nerano. It was amazing. Our captain was Antonio and he was the absolute best. We looooooove Antonio. He was funny, kind, patient and very informative. We were traveling with two older ladies, one of whom had k we problems and they were amazing at helping them on and off the boat and were incredibly patient. If you are in Capri you must take one of Gianni's boat tours, if you don't, you will regret it. Gianni was very helpful both before and after our tour. He had restaurant suggestions and gave us tips for traveling in Capri. He truly cares about people and wants everyone to have a good time. Upon our cruise's arrival in Capri, we unfortunately faced some inclement weather conditions that made our pre-scheduled tour with Gianni nearly impossible. My wife and I had been looking forward to this as a highlight to our honeymoon trip.
