I emailed to get information about reserving a boat and I received a response very promptly and was able to get a reservation just two days away! The whole process was super easy, when we arrived they went over how to get to Capri and what we could do around and on the island... then when we got to the boat they gave us instructions on how to drive the boat since this was our first time driving a boat. They even provided us a cooler with drinks and wine with some ice packs and suggested a deli next door for some sandwiches. They also let us borrow some goggles! When we were done for the day they gave us some homemade limoncello! It was only 120 euro for the boat and 38 for gas.... that less than competitors were charging just for the boat! Overall, it was the best experience we've ever had... we will always remember this trip! We definitely recommend them if you plan on renting a boat in Sorrento!

The seating conditions were comfortable and transportation was relatively smooth and beautiful. There was adequate shade in the aft end of the boat for those wanting to limit sun exposure. The coast here must be viewed from the water to appreciate the views. We were served light snacks and drinks on the way over. A few stops were made on the way to Capri to enjoy the sights and rocky scenic beauty. We were deposited in Capri and told the time we were returning to Amalfi. The group of strangers were engaging, shared stories and friendships were made. We explored Capri, Anacapri, shopping, food, gardens and the beauty of each town. Transportation between the towns is a must and don't try to walk it on your own. We stopped at one spot to swim and relax in a cove on the return trip. The staff was friendly and helpful with beverages, snacks and plenty of limoncelo. The water temperature was idealic. We returned to the pier and continued our evening in Amalfi. The brochure and advertisement mentions two swimming stops and the Blue Grotto, weather permitting. At check that morning of the excursion, specific questions were asked about the Blue Grotto and the staff was incredibly evasive about whether it would happen or not. They knew that day already, the weather conditions and water height made it not possible today, but were deceptive. On the way by the Blue Grotto, the captain announce that it is not possible during this time of year due to water levels. Why lie to us and be deceptive? JUST STATE THE TRUTH WHEN ASKED, PEOPLE WILL UNDERSTAND! We also had only one stop to swim. We were told time did not allow a second stop. We followed their time schedule and were prompt with the schedule. I feel like the trip was well worth it and should be a must if you have the opportunity. I don't like the OVERHYPE AND UNDER DELIVER MENTALITY. This is a issue management needs to address as several other reviews cite the same issues. Overall, a great day, beautiful views and unique way to view this gorgeous coastline.

We were specifically told this tour included two swimming stops. The brochure we received also says…read more"Where we take you" and directly underneath "The areas of navigation," listing places such as Positano, Praiano, Furore, Amalfi, Maiori and Minori. I am attaching a photo of the brochure so people can judge the wording for themselves. My issue is simple: "Where we take you" and "areas of navigation" are not the same thing. One describes where a boat operates or passes; the other reasonably suggests places that are part of the experience. If these are simply areas the boat passes from a distance, the brochure should say that clearly. Because we were promised two swimming stops, I reasonably expected them to be in protected coastal areas or similar locations suitable for swimming. Instead, the boat stopped in deep, exposed open water while the sea was very rough. The boat was rocking aggressively. Staying onboard was making us increasingly seasick, so we ultimately entered the water despite conditions that I personally considered inappropriate for a recreational swimming stop. I owned boats for many years and have considerable boating experience. I understand that sea conditions can change, but I personally would never have placed my passengers into the water under the conditions we experienced that day. When I later asked why they did not use more protected areas such as Furore or Praiano, I was told their boats could not enter there. However, I had visited those areas by land and personally observed other tour boats backing into the buoyed areas, allowing passengers to swim and later picking them up. I understand different vessels, permits or rules may apply. My complaint is not that they were obligated to stop specifically at Furore or Praiano. My concern is that if you advertise swimming stops, those stops should be reasonably appropriate and safe for swimming under the conditions of that day. What was even more disappointing happened when I went to the counter afterward. I tried to respectfully explain my concerns. Instead, three staff members laughed at me and told me I needed to "learn English." I asked to speak with a supervisor or manager and was told nobody was available. That was offensive and completely unprofessional. I clearly explained that "Where we take you" and "Area of navigation" communicate two different things. Instead of discussing that concern professionally, they mocked me. The Amalfi Coast is beautiful, but beautiful scenery does not excuse confusing marketing, questionable swimming locations, or disrespectful treatment of customers. For the record, I speak both English and Spanish very clearly. My English was never the problem.

Camillo gives you and your group (one price for up to 12 people) a boat tour of Capri and Anacapri on his very own wooden boat. He grew up on the island of Capri and knows literally everything about the island!! There are several tours available, both different times of the day and different lengths of time. We did the base tour which was 2.5 hours. He brought us to several beautiful caves, gave us the opportunity to swim, and even drove us under the love arches of the rocks of Faraglioni. Camillo was very personable, knowledgeable, and was beyond thrilled to share all of his info on both Capri and Anacapri with us. He was more than willing to take pictures for us the entire time, make recommendations for how to spend the day on the island, and at the end of the tour he even had us try his mom's homemade limoncello. This boat tour was truly amazing and I would recommend it to everyone!! Well worth the money and time!! Note: he does not take you INTO the Blue Grotto, you will pass by it however and you will also see several other caves with the same beautiful color. You can always pay 14 Euros before/after the tour if you're interested in going inside (weather-permitting).

Here are a few things you might find helpful: We were in the 8:30 departure. You're first stop is Capri where you'll be dropped off. Our return time to the marina was 1:30. So there's time to go to the top if you're smart and go right away. We went to Capri town and while the gardens were worthwhile, the high end shops were just that. And got crowded as the day progressed. Our friends went to Anacapri and took the chair lift to the top and LOVED it. In retrospect that would have been a better choice for us. Make sure you leave time to get back down because there will be lines, maybe long ones. Our group chose not to do the Blue Grotto. They do that after we return so this is something to discuss beforehand, as the time you WILL wait in line for that (1.5 hours had we done it) will cut into the magic that was ahead. Then we went around the island into the little grottos and they even took fun pictures. Then we swam! It was GORGEOUS!!! It's chilly but DO IT. The water is turquoise and truly magical. Antonio and the Captain were fabulous. They made it SO fun, adding a few surprises that I won't reveal . The time in the boat was the BEST! DO IT!!!!!!

I'd probably skip any cave tours (he can take you to them), but they are operated by others. The one we stopped in was small and not super exciting for the EUR. Also when we were dropped off in Capri for a few hrs he connected us with a taxi driver (Giuseppe) that took us around, but charged us more than expected (quoted 120 EUR and asked for 200 EUR). Boating is clearly Pepe's passion and he did an expert job taking us around, I'd recommend him.

We chartered a boat for our family of four in July 2021 and Pepe's son, Lorenzo, took us out. Our entire family quickly fell in love with Lorzeno and his relaxed nature and ready smile that puts you at ease and sets the tone for an amazing, beautiful and memorable experience. In fact, it was one of the most incredible days of our month-long trip in Italy and the family is still talking about it as the highlight of our vacation. In our case, we chose to explore the small coves around Capri, skipping the touristy Blue Grotto, and Lorenzo knew them all and shared the folklore associated with each. We were never rushed or on a schedule and could stop to snorkel for as long as we wished whenever we wanted. We had asked for beer rather than prosecco and he had plenty with water and snacks to accompany. It certainly felt that we were with a friend. This is very fairly priced and a true value for the experience. We will certainly book another trip with them on our next trip to Marina Del Cantone. I had our hotel front desk book a trip with him past minute and he was able to accommodate. Hi father Antonio took us out and we had a wonderful time. Even though it is way too cold to enter the water, we still had a relaxing time. The tides were also too high for entry into the blue grotto, therefore Antonio took us to his version of the grotto without the entrance fee. When the sun hit the water from the other side, the water illuminated a beautiful blue. We also saw a lot of jelly fish in the area. Very cool! He went around pointing out famous people villas on the coastline including the Swarovski lady's place. Towards the end of the ride, the tides were picking up and it was a bit rocky. However, Antonio was as calm as can be and told us not to worry. We both felt very safe. Overall, a great experience. I would definitely recommend taking a trip with Gianni or Antonio :)

I spoke to Shana and she was straightforward, helpful, and priced fairly. She arranged for a boat to pick us up from lunch/beach at Griglio di Tiberio and take us to the grottos. I wish I had done this INSTEAD of taking a tour on one of the boats with other people. Since we had 8 in our party, it made much more sense to have a private captain (Capitan Enzo was friendly and relaxed - a good driver on a fast boat) who took us to all the grottos (Blue Grotto was closed that day). Even for 10am, it was still quite busy on the dock. We should have stayed on the island of Capri. We paid €18 per person and were told which dock to wait at. Easy process to board the boat. There was a decent amount of people onboard, with an entertaining navigator who made many "interesting" jokes throughout the tour. Apparently it was his first time sailing solo, and I thought he did a good job. We went around the whole island of Capri, in awe at its stunning beauty. Pictures don't do it justice, but I attempted taking videos anyways. Finally we came upon the Blue Grotto (last stop) where it was insanely crowded at high tide... too busy to actually go in. The second half of our ticket was to get on ANOTHER boat for the Blue Grotto tour, which wasn't communicated to us until we were actually looking at the landmark. Kinda frustrating since we went through all this trouble. We didn't feel like waiting 3-4 hours to MAYBE get into the Blue Grotto. Instead we did other tourist things and told ourselves we'd stay on Capri next time and spend more time exploring the island. Everything is absolutely beautiful, and we had a positive experience. It was just blindsiding NOT to do the tour we were looking forward to all week!
