They recommended a great place for lunch and we had time to ourselves for shopping and picture taking. From there we got back on the bus and went down to Capri where we were taken on lemoncello tasting, chocolate tasting and some other goodies. From there we went to the Augustus Gardens which were absolutely beautiful. A little more shopping, back on the bus to the ferry and back to mainland with wonderful memories. He picked us up at the dock in Positano shortly before sunset. We had a short sunset cruise before dinner while he told us about some of the local area and we chatted about our lives. We were able to sit on the couch on the front deck of the boat (felt like celebrities!). We pulled up to the dock at Lo Scoglio as the sun went down and enjoyed a leisurely dinner there. Afterwards Roberto returned us to the dock in Positano. I would definitely recommend this experience!

Taking a boat tour around the blue waters / grottos of Capri is something you'll definitely want to do if you are visiting. There seemed to be a variety of public tour boats around, but for a little bit of a splurge there are several companies that will take you out on a private boat. Amidst the many private tour companies, Capri Relax is a great option. The half day tour is three hours, and for us that was more than enough time. I believe they also have full day options. The boat was clean and spacious and had more than enough room for two of us. They provide you with fresh towels, snacks and sunscreen. There is also a cooler where you can keep drinks, so I suggest picking up some water + alcoholic bevvies to enjoy. Our tour guide (hey Constantino!) was super friendly and gave us some great information about the area. Plus he was a wonderful photog. We had plans to see the blue grotto (and it was actually open that day which isn't always the case). But when we arrived we were one of the many boats on line. After finding out the wait was 1.5 hours we opted to skip out. It just didn't seem worth it to spend half of our boat time waiting on a line. Plus, we still got to see a ton of other beautiful grottos. Our boat docked at least 4 or 5 times and we were able to jump out and swim around. I believe this tour was around $250 for two of us. Considering what we got -- ((three hours of being toured around on a private luxury boat)) this didn't feel so over the top. Would absolutely book again if I found myself in Capri, and if you are visiting I'd urge you to do the same.

The fee wasn't exorbitant, costing slightly more if you want to go in the blue grotto--which usually has a wait, unless you go during off-peak times. It gets a bit chilly at times, so bring appropriate clothing just in case.

He tried to show us as much of the island as he could in the couple of hours that we had. The boat itself was clean, lots of comfy space for you to lie down and tan! I spoke to Shana and she was straightforward, helpful, and priced fairly. She arranged for a boat to pick us up from lunch/beach at Griglio di Tiberio and take us to the grottos. I wish I had done this INSTEAD of taking a tour on one of the boats with other people. Since we had 8 in our party, it made much more sense to have a private captain (Capitan Enzo was friendly and relaxed - a good driver on a fast boat) who took us to all the grottos (Blue Grotto was closed that day). He spent a lot of time on his phone, occasionally driving too fast over the waves, we actually got completely soaked at one point. We also never got the advertised and promised homemade limoncello, which was kind of disappointing. Despite missing out on the finer details, it was a beautiful ride around Capri.

Even for 10am, it was still quite busy on the dock. We should have stayed on the island of Capri. We paid €18 per person and were told which dock to wait at. Easy process to board the boat. There was a decent amount of people onboard, with an entertaining navigator who made many "interesting" jokes throughout the tour. Apparently it was his first time sailing solo, and I thought he did a good job. We went around the whole island of Capri, in awe at its stunning beauty. Pictures don't do it justice, but I attempted taking videos anyways. Finally we came upon the Blue Grotto (last stop) where it was insanely crowded at high tide... too busy to actually go in. The second half of our ticket was to get on ANOTHER boat for the Blue Grotto tour, which wasn't communicated to us until we were actually looking at the landmark. Kinda frustrating since we went through all this trouble. We didn't feel like waiting 3-4 hours to MAYBE get into the Blue Grotto. Instead we did other tourist things and told ourselves we'd stay on Capri next time and spend more time exploring the island. Everything is absolutely beautiful, and we had a positive experience. The gentlemen that show you how to drive the boat speak English very well. It takes about 15 min or so for them to give you instructions (Btw, we are both inexperienced in this category) after that, you wait for the next boat and you're off on your own! You are also given a map of the island with main points and where you can anchor your boat to swim, eat, or beach. We drove around the big fancy yachts and waved at other people passing by. Make sure you ride through the Faraglioni rocks! There's lots of spots you can hop off for a bite to eat or lay out on a beach all around the island. This was the absolute BEST way to see Capri.
