After the tour he brought us to a vineyard and presented us with these amazing wines. The whole tasting experience was quite different from other tasting we have had at other tastings. Luigi was also an excellent cook, the dishes were all wonderful and so fresh, and created (and imagined) on the spot! The ricotta with lemon zest was out of this world. The tour was so unique and informative. Our tour guide, Al, was the absolute best and we got to see the whole vineyard and hear all about the wine making process. It was the most gorgeous vineyard I've ever been to. They treated us so well with the wine tasting at the end too. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. You get a lot of food with the tasting too! It's well worth the money. I wish I could bring everyone here. I will go out of my way to come here next time I'm in Italy. We toured Tenuto San Francesco winery and met one of the founders (Gaetano) of this 18th-century family estate. We enjoyed an incredible farm-to-table 3-course lunch prepared right there in front of us. Most of the vines encompassed in this estate are 300+-year-old pre-phylloxera vines. We have never seen vines of this size and planted in the "canopy" method. Cristian was an absolute wealth of information. This place has it all - winery, resort, horse stables, and restaurant. There rooms have a queen bed with a pullout couch and an amazing patio with privacy. The room is very cozy and has a stocked refrigerator of drinks and snacks. The bathroom is very nice and has a walk-in shower and dual shower heads. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They will assist with making any reservations within the resort or setting up excursions. Breakfast is included in your stay. They offer pastries, juice and some hot items. For gluten free they have bread, muffins and cookies. There is also an epic pool with lots of chairs and a pool bar. The towels are wrapped in plastic and the servers will bring you anything you ordered. We had an limoncello spritz and GF snacks. The staff will also give you a tour of the property. It's kept up immaculately and the views are incredible. We also had dinner at the restaurant. They offer GF pasta and other dishes. The pasta was delicious! The resort scheduled a private Pompeii ruins tour for us. They suggest morning or afternoon due to the hot weather. The tour was incredible and the guide was very knowledgeable. There is also a stable where you can take lessons. We didn't opt to do it this time but my dad and I tried last year. You can also schedule a wine tasting. All their wines are made with volcanic grapes and are natural. We were able to try 4 wines with a shot of limoncello. Lunch is also included and can be made GF. Overall had an amazing experience and will definitely continue to come back.

We got to see the horses being trained as well as part of the Pompeii ruins that are located on their property. Once we sat down we were greeted kindly by our server and explained each of the wine tastings we were given along with what they paired well with. Each course was more delicious than the last. Our menu choice was 50 euros per person and worth every penny.
