Dr. Jamie and her staff are awesome!…read more I've been going to Michael Family Chiropractic for almost a year now, so this review is long overdue. First of all, Jamie is fabulous. I lover her friendly and informative bedside manner and her confident adjustment techniques (which I find comforting in a person I'm paying to twist my neck... just saying.). I started seeing Jamie last December after an ugly car accident that left my neck and shoulders sore, and also made me feel off and kind of cruddy for weeks. Jamie put together a year-long care plan that would correct my injuries from the accident and other neck issues that I knew, but didn't know I had... if that makes sense. Jamie also has this move that I describe as "the pretzel move", that adjusts my lower back (another painful area for me) and I leave her office practically skipping afterwards. My appointments are never super time consuming, which is nice when you need to be in and out and continue on with your day or get back to work. Everyone on staff is very friendly and accommodating; especially Lanita, the receptionist who patiently deals with my calls to reschedule appointments when things come up. Shes great! Dr. Jamie's office is decorated adorably and it doesn't even feel like you're at a doctors office. She is always offering educational dinners and seminars for healthy lifestyle living or fun events after hours in her office. I've really enjoyed my year being treated by Dr. Jamie and her staff. Thanks Jamie and Michael Family Chiropractic!

She has helped me with my low back, sciatica and neck issues and every time I leave I have so much more energy also I feel I breathe better. I never felt this from any other chiropractor that I had been to in the past. It is amazing how she can pin point certain issues, address and correct them in just a couple minutes. I have suffered with severe menstrual pain and only believed 3 Advil 4 times a day to be my friend, so I was pleasantly surprised when I discussed these issues with Dr Michael that she was able to relieve the pain and again raise my energy level. This is not an office where you need to hold tight to your curios child(ren), it is very kid and family friendly. I also take my extreme-living-on-the-edge 2 year old to her. Her approach is so gentle and there are many things in her office to occupy his interest that he doesn't even realize he was adjusted for a whole 2 minutes, if that. Dr Michael is super warm and welcoming as well as her staff, Smyrna is lucky to have her!

They uncover the roads in your body's GPS system that aren't mapped yet, find out what they need and then get them turned on in your network so your body can run efficiently and pain free. If you have a back problem what is happening in the rest of your body that is impacting your back? They break through the layers to find the root cause and treat it -- you will never be the same and you will be ever grateful for their intervention. My family has seen all of the practitioners there and are blessed for their healing energy. I started with the practice about six years ago and it changed my life emotionally and physically. After several visits I had mobility in my back and legs that I hadn't experienced in years. Fast forward to a scary time with my daughter, and after spending several thousand dollars in doctor bills and testing and no answers, I took her to see Dr. West who, in the first session, targeted a corn allergy. Treatment and relief began and within two weeks my daughters collapsing spells and unexplained health issues were resolved. My husband and also saw Dr. West for gut issues and general body aches and after the first visit - a marathoner 3+ hour session - he already is feeling the benefits and left amazed at the power of his own body to enable such powerful healing. The latest addition to staff, Dr. Ian Koll, is an intuitive and educational healer. He solves mysteries like a detective, unlocking stress, tension and muscles to bring balance and calm to your body. Despite being a new practitioner, he presents solutions with the quite confidence of a seasoned pro and pairs his detailed, thorough approach with fascinating color and insights into how everything is connected. He's an astute listener, has a warm and approachable bedside manner and is passionate about healing. He's a wonderful addition to the staff and, even more, he's a remarkable healthcare partner to have in your corner.

However, my body has been put through some STUFF (car accidents and snowboarding fails that ended in hospital visits just to name a few), and because of all of the trauma, my poor neck has felt it the most long term. I was leaving Pilates the other day and a rep for Crew Chiropractic was there with a little table and was offering a great promo and I decided to just go for it! I had a fantastic experience from the moment I first met Dr. Sesma at the Pilates studio. Renee, office manager, is one of the kindest souls I've ever met (and I only met her twice), but she just has that welcoming warmth about her that every office needs! Dr. Sesma really took his time to go over everything with me from start to finish, and I never once felt pressured into signing up for a care plan. The whole team makes sure that you're 100% comfortable and they truly believe in the saying "knowledge is power." That's what I loved most about my experience at Crew. The team truly just wants to give you the proper care and share all of the medical ideologies behind it - in detail, so that you leave having at least that and some x rays. Highly recommend giving them a visit if you're looking for a good chiropractor in the Alpharetta area!
