The Blueline 'pub' upstairs has great views of both rinks, great food that serves until midnight, plus they TiVo many games and will play them at customer's request. They also have a small sports shop with skate sharpening capabilities, I don't usually shop there because they are a little more expensive than most but they sure are convenient. A track around both of the rinks is great for running because it is cool in the center and you can watch both hockey rinks from above the glass. This place is just too much fun, whether I'm catching a football game, playing in a hockey tournament or just in for some refreshments. It doesn't get better than this sports center.

They had soft frisbees, soft balls, little bikes, etc. There was a face painter who was not only talented, but was super fast and we appreciated that because the line was long and toddlers can't be expected to be so patient. I had no idea this facility runs as a gym also. There's an area off to the side with equipment. They have a track. I was aware however, that many different teams hold practice here.

This facility is especially important in Anchorage .(no explanation necessary ) The staff and management at the dome does an excellent job of keeping massive sports competitions running smooth . This is one of the few places I know where you can actually reserve a pickleball court up to 3days ahead. The dome is a valuable venue for people from all walks of life .

I know they watch pretty good over cameras to take care of any rough behavior that we experienced the first time with a kid that was probably right on the cusp of being too old. Second time was nice with all 1-2 year olds and they can run, climb and crawl. You have to pay 1$ to get in for a family of 4 and the times vary so check the website ahead of time. This summer 2026 they are moving the time to start at 12 noon and ending some time later in the afternoon, probably due to summer camp type usage of the room. I would definitely take my son back here it is a good time. This building has lots of other uses like pickelball, tennis, and other activities.

The Chalet is well maintained and a nice place to hang out. It's also good for weddings, work parties, family barbecues, romantic picnics, and Pluto-spotting. On trail, off trail, track meets, nordic skiing, biking, wood wandering, moose-spotting, volunteer gardening and maybe some beach walking (try avoiding the horse flies). Never been? Recently, a new indoor playground has been added and we were finally able to visit it today. Sign-in at the front desk. Most of the building/flooring is original FYI. There is lots of signage to direct you. There is a large enough space to store your shoes (don't forget socks). Lots of trash receptacles around. Clean bathrooms with infant changing stations near. The playground is large, clean, and has something for most kids. I'd say the bulk of the structure is geared towards older kids (and/or climbers). See the Muni website for playground hours. It is one of few Anchorage event facilities available to rent, that can hold over 150 people. Parking is ample and the building is secluded enough from neighboring homes. The facility includes a coffee shop/cafe area that you can choose to be open during your event. The facility kitchen is large and open. You have the ability to choose what spaces you want to rent, with the largest space being the gym. If your event has alcohol you will be required to rent the facility as a whole. I like that all rental information to include costs, deposits, etc is laid out clearly online. You will not need to contact anyone directly until you are ready. I believe they even have bouncy houses available to rent. Like most facilities, they have staff there watching. Sometimes they're cool, sometimes they're annoyingly saying the music is too loud when we in the crowd, can barely hear it. Gotta take the good with with the bad ya know?!

Coffee shop staff is super nice, decent/regular prices. If your kid is going to a basketball program (like mine is), make sure you sign them in. You have to- for liability purposes. We didn't for basketball games, but for practice yes. They host Halloween events (and possibly other holiday events) that I've seen too, just haven't been able to go to them. Bathrooms and pretty much everywhere in general is clean and staff is nice.
