Our great little hometown hockey team! Always worth a night at the Sully to watch these guys! It's what Hockey is all about!

I brought my daughter here for a special winter toddler time that was from 10am - 1pm at $5/child…read more It was okay, and I would return. I expected a lot more blocks and building toys but my toddler was able to have a lot of fun and make her rounds. They had soft frisbees, soft balls, little bikes, etc. There was a face painter who was not only talented, but was super fast and we appreciated that because the line was long and toddlers can't be expected to be so patient. I had no idea this facility runs as a gym also. There's an area off to the side with equipment. They have a track. I was aware however, that many different teams hold practice here.

I would give zero stars if I could…read more I am extremely disappointed and concerned with how The Dome handled the situation involving my 7-year-old son. The incident occurred during the summer of 2025. At the time, The Dome told my son's stepmother that he would be allowed to return this year. However, I am now being told that he has been permanently removed from the program. My son has been receiving behavioral health services through Alaska Child and Family Services and Child and Family Development since March 2024, and he has had an IEP through his school since the 2022-2023 school year. Despite his age and documented needs, The Dome permanently removed him without properly investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. My son was not given three warnings before being removed from the program. We also requested additional documentation and information about what happened, but our concerns were not properly addressed. My understanding is that my son was told by an older child to damage property. Yet, the older child involved was not removed from the program, while my 7-year-old was permanently removed. I find this extremely unprofessional and unfair. If The Dome had already decided to permanently remove my son, why was his stepmother told that he could return this year? Why were we not given clear communication or the opportunity to address the situation? Children, especially those with behavioral and developmental needs, deserve patience, understanding, appropriate support, and a fair process. I am asking The Dome to provide transparency and accountability regarding how this situation was handled and why the decision to permanently remove my son was made without properly investigating the circumstances.

This event facility is recently built located on Arctic Road…read more I've attended a community event, a private event, and concerts here. It is one of few Anchorage event facilities available to rent, that can hold over 150 people. Parking is ample and the building is secluded enough from neighboring homes. The facility includes a coffee shop/cafe area that you can choose to be open during your event. The facility kitchen is large and open. You have the ability to choose what spaces you want to rent, with the largest space being the gym. If your event has alcohol you will be required to rent the facility as a whole. I like that all rental information to include costs, deposits, etc is laid out clearly online. You will not need to contact anyone directly until you are ready. I believe they even have bouncy houses available to rent. Like most facilities, they have staff there watching. Sometimes they're cool, sometimes they're annoyingly saying the music is too loud when we in the crowd, can barely hear it. Gotta take the good with with the bad ya know?!

Coffee shop staff is super nice, decent/regular prices. If your kid is going to a basketball program (like mine is), make sure you sign them in. You have to- for liability purposes. We didn't for basketball games, but for practice yes. They host Halloween events (and possibly other holiday events) that I've seen too, just haven't been able to go to them. Bathrooms and pretty much everywhere in general is clean and staff is nice.
