(I know the area quite well anyway, but you know what I mean!) The nightclub attached to the hotel was good for later in the evening, and the meal we had in the restaurant before hitting the town was excellent, cooked to perfection and not too filling. Managed all three courses easily. The rooms were 1st Class, plenty of nice towels to pinch (only kidding!) and felt really well looked after. Good on them for running such a tight ship, it was an excellent stay!

The bar meals menu is very varied and cooked to order - both the fish and chips and the chicken and haggis were delicious. Friendly staff who are attentive but not rushing you to leave.

I love peas so for me, this was a win. The drinks were pretty good too! The owners greet you at the door every time. Lots of room if you have a large gathering. They have domino's party as well as card player parties. I'd not be surprised if they didn't offer various parties for Tupperware, personal products, and food stuffs!! Gotta keep the options open!!
