Inside, there is so much motion and so many staff members floating around that it honestly feels like a Hollywood set being prepped between scenes. People adjusting lighting, straightening decor, moving props, resetting the stage. It's impressive to watch but also a little funny because you start to wonder who exactly the intended shopper is. Whoever that lucky demographic might be, it is certainly not me. They even have a cute holiday special where you pick an envelope off a Christmas tree and win ten percent off. Very charming until you open it and see all the conditions. Valid for this item, not that one. Not combinable. Not transferable. Not applicable to anything you were excited about. Still adorable, just... selectively useful. The best part is that I genuinely do enjoy this store. The style is gorgeous, the furniture is unique, and it's fun just to walk around and take it all in. She found it at the Ocoee store on display as it had been discontinued. The manager Matt Miceli was going to Orlando and he stopped on his way to get this art and drive it to Lady Lake the following day for me to pick up at a much closer store. I loved this so much I wanted another one as it would be perfect in my guest bedroom. However, this was discontinued so there was only 1 showing in Florida. Kellie didn't give up--she called and emailed multiple City Furniture stores throughout Florida in an effort to track it down. One of those emails reached Shannon Gazzier at the Sarasota store. Shannon located the artwork, immediately contacted Kellie, and made sure I was able to purchase it. Since Sarasota is nearly three hours away, Shannon went even further by offering to have her husband meet us closer so we could pick it up. Today, we decided to bite the bullet and head out to stores that claimed to carry Speed Queen. Best Buy lists them on their website but have none in inventory. You'd have to order them and wait for delivery -- one to 2 months. Same with Home Depot. But, Ken and Kerrie's had a set in stock -- they were actually less expensive since they didn't charge for hauling away the old set and included hook-ups. But best of all -- they delivered the set to our home three hours after we swiped the credit card. Tonya handled the transaction and was so pleasant and extremely helpful. She warned us that the Fruitland Park stored doesn't service the machines but -- that's no difference from Big Box stores. We bought a washing machine and dryer, had it delivered and installed and I'm already on my third load of wash -- all in less than seven hours. As a sidenote, the last time we ordered an appliance from Lowe's, the company set up a delivery date -- and did not deliver -- THREE times over the course of two weeks. Our experience with Ken and Kerrie's (and Tonya along with the pleasant deliverymen) is ... pinch us... we can't believe what a smooth transaction this was!

It has lasted a couple months and now it isn't working right. It keeps spinning. When I spoke with the owner she told me to contact Speed Queen directly. They don't answer the phone. I went to their website and searched for local places to repair this machine since it's under warantee. Only one place will service our area and they can't come out for almost 2 weeks. Their driver/repair person only comes to our area every so often. I just called the store asking for help and spoke with someone who was very rude. It wasn't the owner. She told me to contact Speed Queen even though I told her nobody is there to help. She is unwilling to help me. They made their money on this sale and don't care about helping me now.

We went into this office on the second day after delivery and told them the product was defected. They would not exchange or refund the product. Their policy was to charge me 25% or in this case $500.00 to exchange it for another mattress. We have called the manager two (2) more times since he wrote it up as defective for the inspector to come and check it. And we are still waiting after 2 months for their inspector to review the defective product. So BUYER BEWARE !!!
