Found this place taking a new shortcut to 27/441. I had seen the billboard with the horned dog, but had never noticed this place before. I did not find this place to be full of furniture bargains. For example, check out one of my pics, the glass table is scratched, and so is the arm chrome on the chairs, in a set that cost a grand. I also did not like that we were followed around. The person who greeted us bird dogged us, not right next to us, always at a distance, but never away from his sight. That stuff creeps me out. If I have a question or want to buy something, I will come get you. read more

Absolutely wonderful selection of furniture. Prices may be slightly high, but all the pieces are quality furniture. The staff is friendly and helpful. If you decide to buy a piece, however, know that they prefer to have their movers bring the item to your home. If you decide against the movers and your furniture is missing something, scratched up, or not working, the owner is not very willing to make things right. If he does offer to make things right, it will be according to his timeline, not the customer. Integrity is doing the right thing when no one is watching. I know some special needs kids who could teach you a thing or two. read more

We went yesterday to the Furniture Barn in Fruitland Park. Disappointed to see that none of the staff were wearing masks. They followed us around and watched us like a hawk. We kept going around circles to get away from them to avoid coming in contact with these 2 unmasked ladies. We left as quickly as we could. We will not be going back. read more

Moved to Florida with only a card table and two folding chairs!! After a few stops at Furniture Barn I had a dining room set (6 chairs), two bedroom setups (dressers and nightstands), two Lazy Boy recliners, and four bar stools for my kitchen breakfast counter. All for less than I would have paid for a new dining room table alone!!! Also picked up several excellent pictures for our empty walls!! Jerry and Denise are awesome!! read more

Nice quaint little store of higher end brands furniture and accessories. I gave two stars because once inside, the old man follows and watches you like you're a THIEF and I don't like to be treated like that in any situation, like I could've stuck a sofa and end tables in my pocket and walked out of the store. If you are looking for great gently used furniture at very reasonable prices RUN don't WALK to this great store. I have been coming here for five years and have always found great treasures. Besides furniture you will find lamps, pictures and all kinds of home accessories. Patti and Mike only bring in furniture of the highest quality. If what you are looking for today isn't there come back tomorrow. On the other hand if you see something you like today you had better buy it, because it will most likely not be there tomorrow. New items arrive daily. Sometimes they don't even get off the truck before they are sold! The sales staff is knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Prompt deliveries by professional moving staff. We had been to several local furniture shops to get a new dining room table for our new home...Needed one for Thanksgiving, were told we would recieve delivery in MARCH of 2022! So we were told about the Furniture barn in Fruitland park and walked out with a great deal on a dining room table and 6 chairs! Looks like new and was delivered on time, as promised. by 2 great guys who had to disassemble the table to get it in the house, and reassemble once in. From sales to delivery we couldn't have asked for a better store, We'll be going back again I'm sure. read more

We just arrived from Ohio and were driving down 441 and saw a billboard that took us to the Furniture Barn consignment store. We were very pleased to find a whole dining room set,fine china, wine glasses, lamps and table for our foyer. Jerry, the salesman, was very knowledgeable and helpful, no pressure at all..delivery was prompt. The pricing was very reasonable. The owner even came out personally on our second delivery. We are refurnishing a house in The Villages, Florida. We purchased furniture from Furniture Barn, and the furniture was delivered. We then experienced a problem that was entirely of our making and not due to any action by Furniture Barn. However, the representative of Furniture Barn went out of her way to resolve the problem for us. My husband & I recently relocated to The Villages from Williamsburg and we needed a lamp, coffee table and a recliner. I searched in google for consignments stores and was directed to The Furniture Barn consignment shop. My husband & I were very impressed with the help there, Jerry was very accommodating and placed 2 tables on hold for us to measure when we got home. We ended up purchasing the smaller one which we were drawn to, We went on Thursday to check out a bar Heather was also so very helpful we ended up purchasing the bar, a lamp and 2 small tables. The recliner was no longer needed. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone. I can't wait for my girlfriend to see our great finds and also my sister-in-law who is an interior designer. This place is awesome. We have bought so much furniture from them, and everything we've purchased has been in excellent condition. Unfortunately, we can never leave this place empty handed! The staff is incredibly kind, and their prices are fair for what they are selling. . . gently used furnishings. We never felt pressured to purchase, and Jerry and the ladies know what their talking about when they explain details about the furnishings. It doesn't matter when you go, the inventory is plentiful and ever changing. Great store! read more

My husband and I had been in every furniture and consignment store from Ocala to Leesburg. We were ready to give up on finding just the right desk when we saw the large sign right by Near New. Never heard of Furniture Barn before. In less than 2 min. after walking in the door, we found the desk of our dreams. Not only that, but the staff that helped us that day was, by far, the friendliest and most helpful that we encountered at any of the places we visited. Then when it was delivered, the two delivery men were so nice and accommodating. We will never go to any furniture and consignment store again without first going to Furniture Barn.
