One of them broke about two months after it was delivered, and replacement parts had to be ordered from CHINA. The estimated time for the parts is 12 WEEKS. In addition, the sofa has already started piling. We were told there is no fabric warranty for the sofa. And you cannot return any item once it's been delivered. I purchased from City for years, but the quality of the furniture they sell now has taken a nose dive.

I called Babettes service department & they scheduled a service technician visit for the following day. After inspecting the chair, the technician said one of the mechanisms was bent. He ordered the replacement part & two weeks later Thomas, their technician came back to install it. He did a great job & the chair works perfectly. Today, we decided to bite the bullet and head out to stores that claimed to carry Speed Queen. Best Buy lists them on their website but have none in inventory. You'd have to order them and wait for delivery -- one to 2 months. Same with Home Depot. But, Ken and Kerrie's had a set in stock -- they were actually less expensive since they didn't charge for hauling away the old set and included hook-ups. But best of all -- they delivered the set to our home three hours after we swiped the credit card. Tonya handled the transaction and was so pleasant and extremely helpful. She warned us that the Fruitland Park stored doesn't service the machines but -- that's no difference from Big Box stores. We bought a washing machine and dryer, had it delivered and installed and I'm already on my third load of wash -- all in less than seven hours. As a sidenote, the last time we ordered an appliance from Lowe's, the company set up a delivery date -- and did not deliver -- THREE times over the course of two weeks. Our experience with Ken and Kerrie's (and Tonya along with the pleasant deliverymen) is ... pinch us... we can't believe what a smooth transaction this was!

It has lasted a couple months and now it isn't working right. It keeps spinning. When I spoke with the owner she told me to contact Speed Queen directly. They don't answer the phone. I went to their website and searched for local places to repair this machine since it's under warantee. Only one place will service our area and they can't come out for almost 2 weeks. Their driver/repair person only comes to our area every so often. I just called the store asking for help and spoke with someone who was very rude. It wasn't the owner. She told me to contact Speed Queen even though I told her nobody is there to help. She is unwilling to help me. They made their money on this sale and don't care about helping me now.
