Rhe website says "extensive knowledge of diseases and pests. This is not the case. Regardless if whether or not an arborist chooses to treat disease, they should be able to identify it, especially if they say they have extensive knowledge. Lors of talk, and little delivery of much besides feeding and pruning. My time was wasted, along with my trust and goodwill. Taking advantage if a client is bad business. Naive of Theo to think good people will settle for the same tired non-delivery on his word without speaking of that being unacceptable. 4k spent in one year to feed and prune fidteen dicuduous trees, then got a lecture when I spoke of my dissatisfaction of being lied to on the website. read more

Theo did a great job clearing out the dead trees and brush from my property. He cut up the larger wood for use as firewood. He is professional and friendly, and did everything I asked and more. Very happen with the service and will use again. read more

Want to know what a vendor really thinks about your town and people? Be mistaken for a prior client they did work for. The owner thought he had completed work for me in the past and continued to talk, while the truth came spilling out. He is from and may still have home in studio city CA. Made a point of telling me his wife is in the "Business" and continued to trash our city. Apparently we are all rich older people in SF whom live here in an artificial bubble of pueblos style homes etc. The worse was that he is only a tree trimmer. He knows nothing about tree diseases. He avoided my questions regarding a tree disease I had, when finally admitted he didn't learn that information. How can u call yourself an arborist without knowing this about trees?. I heard about Ancestral Tree Care through Next Door, and I recommended Theo and his company to a client of mine in Eldorado. Of course, I then needed help with the over sixty trees (when we moved in, we thought we had about 25 trees on our 2.5 acres) on our land. I called Ancestral Tree Care. Theo showed up exactly when he said he would, gave us a very reasonable estimate, and today he showed up to take care of what we needed. This guy is on time, on task, and our place looks a hundred times better for the work he did. My trees appear to be happy - I'll let you know in a couple of months when they are all green and leafy. He's personable, COVID careful, and someone I would trust to do the work on my property even if I wasn't there. Theo did a fine job on my much love old Siberian Elm. He came out to survey the work, returned when we appointed and gave my tree new life. Theo very nicely cleaned up all of the tree fodder and limbs and was out by 3. This was a very nice experience. read more

It was easy to schedule a time for a consultation, Theo was on time and very knowledgeable, and provided a reasonable quote. He did an excellent job and cleaned up the yard nicely once done.
