We discovered Anatolia when we were in Door County with weekend. This place is hard to find and definitely worth the effort. The food was fantastic. We had the beef and shrimp platters and were not disappointed. Generous portions, well seasoned and fresh. Each platter was accompanied by rice and a delicious Greek salad. New option on our visit this fall. Would recommend the shakshuka and a sandwich (we went with lamb with the shepherd's salad as a side). Pita was soft in both dishes with some char. The soup of the day was veggie ($4.50) was less to write home about but not enough to take a star away. Nice thing here is the option to dine in or out, rather than being forced to get it to go. (though we were staying blocks away). Would have considered trading out the soup for dolma (served hot) or spanakopita. Order at the counter and the food will be brought out to you. read more

My husband and I stopped at this tiny restaurant the first night in Ephraim because we needed something small for dinner. It was within walking distance of our hotel. Spanakopita and baklava hit the spot, both were excellent, particularly the baklava. We returned two nights later for a full dinner. This place has five or six inside tables, and picnic-style seating outside. It was too cool to eat under the stars, and we were directed to a table for two. There's an unused fireplace painted to match the rest of the interior, and two windows on either side of the door. A cooler next to the order desk chills beer and cider; I ordered red wine to go with my Lamb dinner, and my husband chose cider to go with his Kofte Meatballs. Unfortunately, there were flies interested in dining with us, and we spent time waving them away throughout our meal. Our food took the normal 12-15 minutes-ish, and was served on metal plates. Dinner includes salad, pita bread, tzatzki sauce, rice, and tender meat. We had no room for their wonderful baklava. I have never had such a good meal in such a marginal place. We enjoyed the meal, except for the flies. The prices are better than the restaurant in our hotel. When we return to Door County and Ephraim, we'll definitely come again. read more

We kept coming back to eat here during our stay in Door County and literally ate our way through the menu. The Chef's Specials are so flavorful. For a tiny place off a hard-to-find parking lot, this is a gem. I've tried the chicken kabob (don't be thrown when it doesn't come on a skewer) and the falafel wrap in pita. My side of preference is the shepherd's salad, crisp and fresh. Portions are plenty and both choices were delicious. It takes a little longer than you might think it should, but they are making each order fresh and it's worth it. Turn in just south of Beach People, even if you can't see it from the road. My traveling partner ordered the falafel with rice and said it was delicious. I ordered the chicken kabob which was supposed to have fresh veggies + tzatziki sauce on a pita, with a tabouli-type salad as the side. After waiting almost 30 minutes for my to-go order, the kabob consisted of chicken with the tabouli salad on the pita, with yet more tabouli on the side. The menu said vegetables with chicken which was misleading; what I got did not resemble kabob contents whatsoever. So either the menu isn't clear as to what vegetables means, or the order was prepared correctly. On the positive side, the staff is friendly, and it's a healthier option than the pierogi stand next door. I wish them well. read more
