Incredibly long wait. I've been here for 4 different appointments. Over 10 hours of wait time combined. On my 4th visit, I found out that I have an injury I may need surgery for. He suspected this the whole time but, never told me. This Doctor is greedy!!! He schedules his appointments starting at 8:30 am and does not arrive til 9:30am. His appointments are scheduled 5 mins apart. The staff is horrible as well. Vanessa and their X-ray tech are the only ones with any sort of empathy. You can tell that they deal with people complaining about the wait constantly. Yet they are still humble. The rest of the staff lack people skills and training. My state disability paper work was a disaster. Misspelled words, wrong dosages and sections left blank. I have finally scheduled an appointment with another doctor in Brawley. I have yet to see Dr. Lai but my appointment is this Wednesday. Dr. Lai's staff was more than excited to schedule my appointment. If you can avoid this place, your life will only be better. Horrible doctor, it's obvious he tries to prolong your medical problem by ordering unnecessary work done in order for his private practice to get more money. Seems like a scam artist. I have seen Dr. Anand myself & taken my mother there for a hip injury. The wait time has either been short (30 minutes) or what it would be at any other doctor visit, about an hour. Dr. Anand & his physician assistants have been very polite, knowledgeable & professional. One thing I see as a plus is that they take your x-rays there right before you see the doctor. I am also pleased to say that the office staff has always been very attentive and helpful. Although they are very busy, they have always been polite & courteous. One thing I have noticed, after having to visit other doctor offices that offer the same services, is that these ladies are always very we'll put together considering they are there for many hours and deal with many patients throughout the day. read more
