Yes, you have to pay to get in, yes that's a bummer but you get the money back in a drink token. The place is always clean, the lights in the sunset, am the early morning sunrise. All just good!!! I've been to Stadium Golf a bunch of times, mostly for the outdoor batting cages. They have…read morefastpitch and slowpitch softball, plus baseball cages from 40-70 mph. The slowpitch cages seem to draw everyone from first timers having fun to local league players getting in practice swings. The pitching machines are accurate most of the time, but you'll occasionally have to adjust to a wild pitch. It can also get frustrating when a cage is down or the balls get stuck, since there usually isn't an employee stationed at the cages. When it's busy, people generally take turns. I do like the shaded picnic benches, grassy area, and nearby pro shop. You can get a reloadable card there, then swipe it at the cage and press the button to start. This weekend, my boyfriend and I also got a bucket of 250 golf balls. I hadn't swung a club in years, and I had back surgery a few months ago, so I was extremely rusty. To the gentleman I accidentally drilled with a golf ball. I am sooooo sorry!! I'll be sticking to the lanes with dividers from now on! The golf range has a nice shaded upper level with TVs, a shaded lower level, and an open area. Everyone I've interacted with has been friendly and helpful.

I still hit 375 which is in bad for not swinging a bat for about six years. They have two soft toss areas, pitching area and weight area And a hitting a tracks area and just stay getting machine area only tried the two hitting machines will do more next time and send out a review. Little on the pricey side but well worth it at least so far. The owner was extremely nice friendly and kind to help me out. Or. We.

There are also two soft toss cages and a nice outdoor space for tee work or more soft toss. Finally, there is a setup with some nice gym equipment. Our kids enjoyed running on the treadmills, the rowing machines, and getting on the bench press. The setup is really streightforward--reserving times and setting up stations is simple and effective. All from your phone, and without the need for any interaction with employees. The Clubhouse is such a clean, welcoming, professional environment. My 11 year old son and I had planned to be at The Clubhouse from 5:30-7. We would up staying for two more hours and putting in a couple hundred more swings on the soft toss cage, and watching baseball together on the big screen in the lobby. It's a great spot for connecting with and coaching your kid, and we will definitely be back.

Coach Chris is amazing. He's super technical, loves what he does, always makes sure your child…read moreunderstands, and is comfortable with his coaching. When he sees something that needs improvement, he addresses it and explains it thoroughly. My son has a pretty timid personality, and somehow Chris gets him to smile at least once during his session. He makes a sincere effort with getting to know your child , which I appreciate. I love watching him coach my son. He's gained so much and improved his baseball skills tremendously with him. Coach Chris is the Epitome of true professional and amazing. Front desk personal are always friendly. They also let me bring my dog in to sit and watch my son.

But this…read moreplace deserves a 1 star because we were not aware which bat is for baseball and it took another worker to scold us for using the wrong bat and for swinging on the wrong side (left handed). For first timers it's important to explain in the very beginning what to use first of all and second of all...explain it in a nicer tone. After being scolded like that in front of other customers that made me and my friends embarrassed and no longer want to continue playing. This was supposed to be a memorable and fun experience but sadly, we will not be coming back here.

Local Scripps ranch batting cages!…read more Although a small facility, this is a great place. I take my son here typically every other week, if not every week to use the batting cages. The instructors here are truly good. I'm a baseball guy. Have played all my life. And I'm confident in their instructors. They know what they're talking about out, teach the proper techniques and mechanics, and are good with the kids. They're really encouraging and are a great fit for this spot. I also appreciate that they're involved in our little league. Any time a game or practice is rained out, they're available and ready to help.

Really good young man and acted professional throughout our visit. Brady himself gets FIVE stars Now the reason for the three stars. The facility itself is very small as well as the cages. Grown adults taking full swings and continuously hitting the sides of the cages. Our women ballers unfortunately had the same result. Lastly the biggest reason for the review is that if you're going to say you tailor to adult softball Slowpitch then you need to have semi adequate equipment. The balls were atrocious with rips and lopsided. If I knew I had to bring my own balls I would have. Out of two Home Depot buckets of balls maybe half a bucket were decent. If I do come back I am bringing my own suitcase of balls to BP with. Last note. The prices were fairly reasonable but I may pay extra to swing somewhere else in a facility that I don't hit the wall or cage.

They are inconsistent at best and self feeders hadn't been working for the last several times we have been. He can't go alone. His batting coach has asked us to find a different cage where the equipment is reliable. The kicker is, you pay the same whether the feeder is working or whether the machines are properly calibrated. I have wasted my money at least 5 times. The staff just say sorry. It's too bad though. Although the location is most convenient for us, I can't keep giving them my money or recommending them to others on the team. Taking my money elsewhere.
