My back was really out of whack. I was having a pinched nerve. So I had heard really good things about this chiropractor. I did three visits in one week and he 80% of the way fixed my pinched nerve. He is definitely one of my favorite chiropractors I've ever been to. I'm looking forward to going back and continuing services with him. I would say the one thing that really stands out is that he really gets in there and grabs you and moves you. read more

Been going to chiropractors all my life, so I've had my share of seeing different practices and techniques. My low back pain has been at an all-time high, so I gave this place a try per the recommendation of a friend. Dr. Dave is not only friendly and personable, but very thorough. In terms of my posture and alignment, he saw every little nuance and gave me advice/stretches to help correct the problem. He also used such techniques and stenches to rule out possible causes and get to the root cause of my pain, which was determined on my first visit. Some chiros will simply adjust you and say to come back when it inevitably hurts again. He cares enough to help you live well and get your power back on. Oh, and he's right on the harbor, so you can't beat the views either. As a person who has been going to chiropractors their entire life, I implore you to look no further. read more

Had an excellent first time visit with Dr. Packard. I was in a lot of pain and he was able to diagnose and do some adjustments, moist heat and tense. I feel so much better. Amazing!!! I will be returning for continuing care. read more

I've been a patient for about 4 months now. Dr. Dave is great! At my first consultation I really liked how thorough he was. He asked a lot of questions about my back issues and really cared about helping me. I've been to other Chiropractors in the past that seemed never to really want to get me all better just to keep going back. Not Dr. Dave.... he is honest and caring and very professional. His receptionist, Fatima, is always so nice and helpful as well. I've recommended Dr. Dave to other family members and they have had great experiences as well. read more

For years I ignored a horrible nerve pain coming from my right leg, down to my ankle. I used to run 6miles, 3xs a week & train for marathons thinking my pain was coming from being overweight, but that was not the case & I had to stop for over a year. It came to the point that I couldn't even walk, stand from the chair or my car, I even cried one morning for not being able to get out of my own bed. Its only been over three chiropractic sessions with Dr. Dave, & I am truly thankful to meet such Doctor!! It's almost as if I'm getting my Right Leg Back!! He truly tries to resolve the actual issue of your visit!!! I can actually enjoy walks with hardly any pain. read more

I never write reviews. No, I really mean I never write reviews, but I couldn't help but write one for this place. First, the doctor and staff are the friendliest and most genuine people I've met in California. Their wholesomeness reminds me of being back home. With that said, I was down bad at my first visit. I was unable to stand up straight or walk normally due to an injury at work. I'm active-duty and I really messed my back and hip at work. The pain was so intense that heavy narcotics did next to nothing for me. I came in desperate for help. I just wanted to be able to sit with my family and not be in pain. The first adjustment was life changing. I felt like 1000 pounds was taken off. I can't say enough about this place. Spend the extra money to go here and stop wasting money going to the Joint. They're not in the same league. If you're active-duty, he works with us. You owe this to yourself. read more

Pricing: $60 for consultation and $100 for an additional three other appointments that I decided to schedule. In total I paid $160. Consultation: I have lower back pain, Dr. Dave was very gentle and kind throughout the whole session and answered all of my questions. Coronavirus precautions: The office took Coronavirus very seriousl, they all wore a mask at check in and Dr. Dave wore one the whole entire session--as did I. The chair in which I was seen was also sanitized and wiped down before my session began. Results: When our session was over I stood up and instantly felt a difference in my posture and felt more realigned and light. I highly recommend Anacapa Chiro! read more

I had been having pain in my back/shoulder and couldn't get rid of it with rest, massage, stretching, nothing. I'm not someone who loves the idea of getting cracked - I definitely guard and have a hard time relaxing! That's just me. Dr. Dave is so kind and was so welcoming when I first walked in. He assessed my posture, and was communicative about what he noticed going on. He was honest and said "You'll probably feel about 50% better after today, and we'll go from there." I appreciate that honesty. I work in healthcare, myself, and I don't like when someone is pompous and thinks they're going to fix you. I liked his truthfulness and it made me trust him. He quickly diagnosed the issue (ribs stuck together by tight muscles - yay) and adjusted the specific bones. He was right. After my first appointment, I felt about 50% better. My second appointment, I had increased pain for about 8 hours after, and then it was SO MUCH BETTER. I think my body just increased in some inflammation and then it calmed down, and the adjustments he did were precise and accurate. i will continue seeing him until this rib cage deal is sorted out! read more

Let me start off by saying that I never write reviews so for me to write one I have to be very impressed! I had intense lower back pain and found Dr David Packard on Yelp by looking at the highly rated reviews. At the first visit he knew exactly what was wrong and was able to adjust me and I walked away almost pain free!!! He doesn't try to up sell you, which I've had before at other chiropractors, and is very friendly and helpful. The prices are very reasonable and the staff in the office is very nice. I've never ever had to wait for an appointment and am able to just walk right in. If you are searching for a great Chiropractor, search no further you have found him!!! read more

The best chiropractor I've found! I've been seeing chiropractors for years all over the country as I've traveled...Dr. David is great! His techniques are a little different than I've seen before, but work so well for adjusting my mid and upper back. He had got things back in place that I never knew were even out! I've been seeing him for over 3 years now and I won't go anywhere elsead. read more

I highly recommend Dr. Dave Packard. He is very knowledgeable and he makes you feel very comfortable. I have seen him for adjustments and just recently I had a horrible neck spasm happen to me and he was able to accommodate me in the same day. I am very thankful to have found a knowledgeable, nice and caring chiropractor. He is also very honest and priced very reasonably. His office is very clean. Lastly, I have to mention the front desk receptionist Fatima is a sweetheart and makes you feel welcomed! read more

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Dave! My husband and I went away over the weekend and after a few nights in a bed that I'm not used to, I started getting mid-back spasms. By the time we got home from vacation I could barely get out of bed without yelling out in pain. One visit to Dr. Dave and I felt 100 times better. I was able to continue work for the rest of the day and my mobility was nearly back to normal! Seriously astonishing for how much pain I was in earlier that morning. I also started getting migraines about 3 months ago and after the first visit they started getting better. 4 visits later and I haven't had a migraine now in about a month. Every time I have an issue he gets me in right away and I feel better immediately. Thanks Dr. Dave, you're the BEST!! read more

Dr. Dave is amazing. He's personable and easy to talk to. He listens to your concerns and knows what he is doing.

Dr. Dave is simply the most compassionate and gifted Chiropractor in the area! Being relatively new to the area and interviewing two other Doc's...I found my hero! Dr. D. is not the typical Chiropractor, he does an extensive intake and involves you in the healing process and by NO measure uses the old "you must have a treatment package of 175 visits" in order to get better...NOPE, Dr. Dave is better than that junk. He knows that each person must be treated as an individual and that every treatment plan will be different and every budget is different. He makes care affordable and manageable! I have some extensive health issues and Dr. Dave patiently listens to my 20 questions and explains in detail what he is doing and why. I always believed in natural healing, which is the essence of chiropractic care. I am grateful to have found such an honest, caring and intelligent Dr. who grasps the concept of natural drug-free wellness. He is a blessing!! read more

There are many things I like about this office the first and foremost is that DR Dave Packard is so nice and caring. I brought my mother here; she has been in pain since a fall 2 years ago, We met Dr Dave Packard at the Farmer's market about 1 year ago and Mom finally agreed to give it a try last week. She hates going to doctors; she does not like talking about her problems or her pain. She does not think highly of chiropractors in general. He was so sweet and understanding with her; he won her over almost immediately. It was just him in the office so none of this telling your story to a receptionist first (which I can't stand!) He seemed to have all the time in the world for her. She felt better the next day. Her pain is decreased significantly and she is able to stand and walk for longer and more comfortably. She will go back next week. Also a plus is medicare is going to cover the visit. This is. a nice quiet location with plenty of free, easy parking. read more

I'm new to the area and Dr. Dave is located very close to me. When my lower back went out, I immediately called him and he was able to see me the same day. The sacrum is a particularly hard spot to adjust, but Dr. Dave got it on the first try! I loved that he took a moment to explain everything he was going to do so I wasn't surprised. He even set me up ice and muscle stim afterward for no extra charge. His fee was perfectly in-line with other chirpractors and his demeanor is so caring. I was also appreciative that he didn't try to upsell me on a package or vitamins or any other junk. I'm so thankful to have found a chiropractor nearby that I actually like! read more

Dr. Packard is an amazing chiropractor, he has helped me throughout my healing process as a direct result of a car accident I sustained in April of this year. Dr Packard has been very thorough and informative with me about the process, being very gentle with his care. Aside from being an amazing doctor, he's also an awesome person, and I'm thankful to have been introduced to him. I strongly recommend him to anyone in need of help! read more

Dr. Dave has been exceptional with his services. I started having a lot of pain on my hip due to a previous accident and was skeptic about seeing a Orthopedic Dr. due to experience with just being treated with shots or possibly surgery. I wanted a more natural healing procedure and that's how I was referred to Dr. Dave he came highly recommended to help treat your body with natural healing and after just my first session with him my hip already was feeling great. I highly recommend Anacapa Chiropractic. Thank you Dr. Dave and your staff for all your help. read more

Dr. DAVE is a kind professional that listens to your needs. I have been seeing Dr. DAVE for 2-years. I was in so much discomfort and calling around to find a chiropractor. Everyone I called could not get me in even after I explained how much discomfort I was experiencing. When I called Anacapa Chiropractic and spoke with Dr. DAVE he said it was his day off but was in the office doing paperwork but could hear in my voice I really needed help. Within an hour I was at his office and have been going ever since! His office is very nice and office staff friendly. Go see Dr. Dave. read more
