Oh yes, just the kinda pharmacy I was looking for. It's all in here folks. Fizzing candy, Reese's everything, chocolate covered pretzels, Hersheys kisses and hugs, Pop tarts, and anything else that is guaranteed to make your teeth hurt. As well as the pre-packaged stuff, they also have about 148 boxes of various sweets that you can mix n match, stick in a bottle, and chose your very own special label for. The price range from €3 for 100ml to €9 for 500ml. (Choose the size at your peril...!) As if this wasn't enough to ensure a trip to Dr Molar, you may also gorge further on milkshakes, ice cream floats and sundaes. And round it off with a nice cold carbonated drink, sure ye may as well. It also is a busy stop for people going to watch GAA games in Croke Park.

Many of us who have ventured across the pond to the US and have inevitably fell in love with some fattening, artificial, deliciously bad American candy. And up until now, the only method of procuring the sweet, sweet candy in Ireland was buying it online (and crying over the postage and packaging charges) or hitting up one of overpriced candy stores in the city centre. Sweetest Moments might not be as fancy looking as some of the candy stores in the city centre BUT the selection and most importantly, the affordability of this place has made it my favourite confectionary shop. The sales assistant even helped me put together a gift box of my friend's favourite American candy, very good service. I'll probably be back to get some retro sweets for Christmas presents. The only problem I have with this place? It's not a huge issue.. but there is no credit card machine in the shop so don't forget to go get some cash before you go in.
