My wife and I walked over to this place from our hotel out of convenience. It was heavily raining…read moreand all of the really good places we found on Yelp were either closed (apparently a lot is closed in France in August) or a decent walk. So, we meandered over here and I wanted to sit outside in the rain under their beautiful awning they had out. The waiter informed us, in English surprisingly, that we didn't want to sit there, our pizza would be wet, surely he just didn't want to serve us there despite many other tables eating outside. In any case, we were shown to a table indoors (to my wife's delight) and sat down. About 15 minutes passed and we decided on having a glass of Rose wine each and to share a pizza. When the waiter came, we tried to make our simple order. This is the important part. The waiter rudely informed us that our order was not enough food to justify the seating of the table. As we were a two top taking up a four top table, "The Boss makes the rules, I'm sorry" he said. So, we awkwardly were forced into ordering a salad, a 12 euro "italiano" salad in order to appease this donkey waiter and "the Boss". We have been travelling through S.W Europe for the last month and this has never happened to us. So much for a cheap bite to eat. I gulped my glass of Rose in fury and ordered another as soon as I could. Sadly, the pizza came out in 3 minutes along with the salad, suggesting they just knock out cheese pizzas all night and add toppings on the fly. We walked by one table, on the way in, that had a generous 4 whole mussels on her entire pizza. I would be pissed!. Despite all of this, the pizza was pretty tasty, though the toppings were not spectacular or super fresh for that matter. Very awkwardly thrown onto the pizza without uniformity whatsoever. Dough was perfectly thin, but undercooked a touch so it was still a bit soggy / hard to cut. The salad came with a bit of greens, a lot of tomato slices, and 4 chunks of fresh mozz that all were drizzled with a balsamic reduction. The mozz saved this "salad". It was really fresh and really good. The other components tasted "run of the mill" and were okay at best. We will not be back here despite the decent pizza / salad hence the 2 stars. Service ruined this experience for us.

I would like to preface this review with the following disclaimer: I have never been to Brittany…read moreand, therefore, am not intimately familiar with "Bretagne style crepes". Now with that out of the way.. YUM! This was my first actual restaurant-crepe experience, if you don't count that tiny cafe in Bellecour, the stand in Part Dieu, or that overpriced but super cute salon de thé in Vieux Lyon. This was the first time I had a full crepe meal. I ordered the Pacifique, which included smoked salmon, avocado, tomato, a mango sorbet, lemon, and chive cream. It was amazing. For dessert, I went with the banana caramel option and I ate it all, even though I was full and shouldn't have. I also ordered a green salad for my appetizer, (which was tasty,) and my husband chose the butter crepe for his, (which he said was awesome.) Both of us and his brother-in-law, who was dining with us, tried a glass of cider and we all enjoyed it immensely. I had the rose, my husband had the brut, and my brother-in-law had the original. Besides the specialty crepes, you can build your own with 1, 2, or 3 ingredients. Although there are no strictly vegetarian crepes on the specialty menu, you can easily build your own. My brother-in-law had one with tomato, onion, and mushrooms that he quite enjoyed. As an added bonus, the waitress and the chef were both super friendly and helpful and happy. We will definitely be back!

Each of us (4) had a different galette (with cidre), and it brought back many good Breton memories. We finished with a salted-caramel crepe with glace and chantilly. Delicious finish to a good light meal. Recommend highly (x4).
