I had my wedding at Infinity Event Venue in March of 2023 and I could not be happier with my…read moredecision! I booked this venue 2 years in advance because I knew this was the place that I have always dreamed about. As a wedding photographer myself, I wanted something unique from the typical Alabama wedding venue look. The biggest take away was that our guests raved about the location and how stunning it was. We we were taking sunset photos as bride and groom we watched as all 100 guest came out by the bluff to take photos as well! I have NEVER seen this happen in 5 years of wedding photography experience. The staff was just absolutely amazing, especially Cheyanne. Cheyanne, in-house wedding planner, she was exactly who I needed to make the day run perfectly. Aubrey and Will have done an amazing job of maintaining this beautiful venue. Another one of the amazing reasons I chose this place was that the groomsmen actually had space to get ready and hang out. A lot of venues tend to put groomsmen in an attic or basement, but not here. The wedding day is just as much about the groom and his groomsmen as it is was for the bride and her bridesmaids. The reception space was perfect for the and we had lots of space for food, drinks, cake cutting, dancing, photo booth etc. without feeling cramped. The decor closet that was provided by the venue was amazing and helped save us lots of money on decor, they had a great selection. I can't say enough wonderful things about this place!

The Henry House

The Henry House

At first, although very short and elementary in nature, I received responses via email, but they soon became far and few as the days drew near for me to travel to the Alabama region. I called time and time again (no solicitation: these calls and emails were all at least a week out from one another), and the promise of reaching out or calling me back was never fulfilled. I was, throughout the entire ordeal, a willingly paying customer, but the General Manager seemed a little discriminatory after time went on. A week before I was set to travel to Alabama, all forms of communication stopped: Alexis refrained from answering my calls, and did not answer any of my follow-up emails. Flat out just ignored me. Completely unprofessional: I was completely inconvenienced due to the fact that this pre-arrangement fell through. Luckily, a Director of Sales at a boutique hotel was informed of my predicament, and she was able to accommodate free-of-charge. If you are thinking of making accommodations at The Henry House in Guntersville, AL, please don't. I can't even imagine how the hospitality is at that location, given my experience. Truly disappointing. I completely understand if one did not want to, or could no longer, accommodate a service, but completely ignoring a customer without reason is just nasty.

Can't believe I haven't written a review for The Camp. One of our go-to places to hangout in HSV,…read moremostly if the weather is nice, BUT there is coverage. We have been for several events that the camp hosts. Including NYE two years in a row - they have igloos you can rent where you have a personal waiter that comes to you and you can enjoy drinks, snacks, etc. ball drop with complimentary champagne. We've done Mardi Gras and their Crawfish Boil. All you can eat tickets for Crawfish are around $60 so a little pricey but a fun event. The Camp knows how to bring New Orleans to HSV. With the food, decorations, parades, etc. The owners are big Saints fans (Who Dat!) and I believe from? NOLA, so I love that they bring the culture here. They always have events at the Camp -- the best way to keep up weekly is via their Instagram. They have live music every week, BINGO nights, trivia nights, karaoke nights, Drag brunches (SO FUN!), and more! Halloween is definitely one of my favorite times at the camps. They go ALL OUT with decorations. Perfect spot for spooky season. Their cocktail menu has all time favorites and seasonal options. The drinks are a little pricey $12-18 for cocktails. Food options are typically yummy, my favorite is the fish sandwich & beer battered fries . The QR codes are located in various seat locations, that's where you can order food and it gets brought out to you. Their shrimp plate is also yummy. Another super fun time of year to go to the Camp is the Christmas pop-up! They make it so magical. Elf, The Grinch, and Santa show up - so bring the kiddos. Speciality cocktails in fun Christmas glasses. Amazing decorations you don't want to miss. Their hospitality and friendly staff really make this place run. There are multiple nooks and open- air spots to sit, TVs, heaters, fans, etc. the staff is happy to accommodate with fire pits, etc to keep you comfortable and having a good time. The bathrooms are super clean every time we've gone. Even when super busy the wait times are minimal for food and drink and it's always a fun time! On Sundays in the summer-Christmas they have Mic City Market at the Camp. It's amazing event to shop local & get gifts, fresh produce, meats, plants, and even adopt a pet! I absolutely can't say enough good things about info about The Camp. What a gem
