We were ready to eat anything in sight and thank goodness we stumbled into a local cafe with a menu full of the regular suspects....burgers, fried delights and cold sodas. We parked in one of the many available spots, were greeted by a friendly server upon entering and given a few minutes to peruse the menu. I spotted fried chicken gizzards with tots and of course my loyal burger eater was right at home in cow country with his classic 8 oz. burger although in a surprise move he selected a salad for his side. Food arrived quickly, service was friendly and efficient and we were back on the road 30 minutes later. Our ticket came in just over $20. Every small town needs a Martha Jo's---heck, everyone needs a Martha Jo's.
