I'm writing this while on the second 9 hour layover at JFK! We were told that she went to a lot of trouble to make sure we were all seated together but in fact no one was seated together. Service was nearly nonexistent, one passenger had her name misspelled on her reservation, when the agency was told this was "no problem, it happens all the time", when she got to the airport she was told she would be denied boarding! It was only through the efforts of the Delta agent that she made the flight. I have a CPAP machine and was told that it could not be used on the plane, but Delta arranged it with no problem. All in all it seemed to me a less than professional service!

We rented a tandem kayak from 5pm to 7pm (we finished up at about 6:20 because it started raining)…read more The water was not crowded at all; there were two boats that passed by us. The water was clean in some parts and not in others. There were a few large branches we had to avoid. We got a quick good lesson on kayaking before we went into the water; it was very helpful. Our kayaking journey was absolutely beautiful. We passed a whole lot of ducks. They really kept us entertained. We passed a cute park, went through some gorgeous neighborhoods. Overall, there were a lot of trees on the shore by the canal so it felt very serene. I would recommend kayaking here! :)
