We ended eating here because of its proximity to our hotel. We had the most amazing, experience. We were so surprised with the overall experience. Cannot recommend this restaurant enough! Being Italian, I had zero expectations to find good Italian food in Belgium. I was so wrong. The food was fresh, delicious and innovative. The prices and quantity do not disappoint. The service was truly outstanding. Our waitress was delightful. I don't remember her name, but she could not have been better. I had the evening special on the Board, my husband had a linguine with truffles. Do not miss the dessert of chocolate soufflé and pistachio gelato worth the visit just for that. Trendy, packed but extremely mid pizza and cocktails. Honestly one of the worst pizza's I can remember with a terrible sauce. Asked for crushed red pepper and they brought salt & pepper, maybe that's not a garnish here. Negroni was vermouth heavy & has 3 small cubes. Just a terrible experience. Salty, mediocre crust. Oh, would not serve a glass of tap water with my cocktail, had to choose between 6€/9€ bottles. I didn't think that this was legal. Put me in a bad mood. read more

Pizza perfection! Organic sourdough crust, high quality toppings, cool setting, indoor/outdoor seating, nice staff, and close proximity to the Bruges center. It's such a win. We didn't discover it until the end of our time here, but we managed to visit three times before leaving. They also have delicious pasta, drinks, and olives (that our toddler loved). We needed a break from Belgian food so we decided on Italian. We came by on a Monday at 8:30. No one even looked in our direction so we sat ourselves at an empty table outside. After we sat down, someone shortly came out and gave us a menu. It took another 20 minutes before we were acknowledged again, when they came to take our order. At that point, we asked if there were any tables inside because it was too smokey outside. They said they'd check but since we already waited 20 minutes, we wanted to place our orders before they checked but they said they needed to check first. 10 minutes pass (seriously doubt they needed to check that long so I'm guessing they probably forgot) only for them to come back outside and tell us there's no availability. We're pretty annoyed now but since we're starving, it's 9 pm, and everything elsewhere is closing soon, we decide to just order anyway. A few minutes after we order, they tell us a table is now available inside (mind you, I had seen no customers leave in those few minutes because I'm seated facing the door). Very suspect. But anyway, luckily our food came out pretty quickly. We had the prosciutto cotto and mushroom pizza and the carbonara. The pizza had a nice crust. It came with plenty of mushrooms but could have used a bit more prosciutto. On the flip side, the pasta had a little too much pancetta in it but it was good otherwise. It's heavy though so it's best to split, which is what we did. It's such a shame the experience we had at the beginning because the food is actually pretty good. If I was a local, I probably wouldn't come back just for that reason. read more

While visiting Bruges, we checked many vegan places and tried many delicious meals, but at the end of our trip, seeing many pizzerias around, we craved vegan pizza. Bruges does have few very good vegan options, but when it comes to Italian food, it was very hard to find vegan options. Luckily we found Amuni, and not only that they can adjust their menu to make many options vegan, but they also have pizzas that are already labeled as vegan. Place is beautiful, not loud at all, staff is amazing, they do take reservations, but there were seats available when we got there. Originally we ordered over the phone as a pickup, but when we got there, we decided to stay and dine in, since place was really beautiful. Other then having vegan options, pizza was one of the best I had in Belgium so far. Their non- vegan options look delicious as well. Highly recommending. read more

Went in late with no reservations on a rainy Wednesday. They were still quite busy but managed to seat us. There was only two empty tables so we thought how bad could it be? Well the service was mixed. Waited on us quickly and everything came out quickly. We ordered a classic tomato with garlic and parsley with an order of porchetta bruschetta. They were both unremarkable. The pizza wasn't even sliced and only had a dull steak knife so was rather hard to eat. The pizza had no visible garlic on it and you could not smell any garlic. My husband asked if he brought us the wrong pizza as there was no garlic on it. The waiter replied yes there is garlic on it. After searching we found one clove of roasted garlic on the whole pizza. Needless to say it was the most bland boring pizza we've ever had. And the bruschetta was also bad. It was not like any porchetta we've ever eaten. It was basically ham and cheese on toasted white sandwich bread. They didn't even use the correct bread! Bruschetta is always made with sliced French bread that's been toasted and rubbed with garlic and a drizzle of olive oil. My Italian grandma would be rolling over in her grave. Too bad. It had nice ambiance but the food was very disappointing. read more

Our visit here was probably the highlight of our trip from a good standpoint. I am so glad we chose this place to eat our final dinner in Bruges. The service was great and the food was incredible. Alex (thank you for the awesome discussion!) was the best. He didn't keep bugging and checking in on you like a lot of restaurants do in the states which we enjoyed as we could just enjoy ourselves, our drinks, our food, and only really be interrupted when it was necessary. The drinks: nice selection of beers and a great wine selection as well. Alex will help suggest a good wine to have with your choice of food. The food: We had ravioli with mushrooms and Parmesan sauce. This was a flavor explosion for sure. Perfect combination of everything came together on this dish. And then I had a sopressata, fior di latte (fresh mozz), and parsley pizza. The dough was freakin' perfect. Crisp on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside with a perfect amount of char as well. It's a sourdough crust too which adds a very nice depth of flavor as well. Also for those that aren't used to real Italian pizza, the pizzas are not sliced like they are in the states. You use a fork and knife to eat it. So don't expect it to be sliced! The table EVOO was also outstanding! I dipped my crust in there a little and was wowed each time. They use top notch ingredients and don't skimp on their methodology. This is REAL food. Alex talked to us for a bit (after I asked a few questions) and was excited to explain the quality and passion that goes into their creations. It was excellent. Thanks again Alex! read more

Nice Pizza and Pasta, family enjoyed their meal. Poor choices made by the staff in terms of customer service. I ordered a Capuccino to finish my meal, after 1-2 sips a bug flies into the drink and dies. So I ask for another cappuccino They charged me for both. The rationale being "it's not our fault the bug flew into it, you could have used a spoon to take it out" Yes, it wasn't your fault. A great spot! It's tucked away near Delany's Irish Pub, just east of city center. It's got simple, clean and classy decor, as well as a nice outdoor seating area between buildings. The white pizza I had was fantastic. Perfectly baked crust and balanced flavors The other diners I was with had great things to say about their pizza and lasagne.
