Will ride with Shawn again cuz I know his next tour will provide new and exciting tales of Portland Maine.

The machines were large and new. Price to run a load was $5.50. Bathrooms were super nice as well. My husband took a shower and was very happy with the shower size and how clean the bathroom was. We were traveling in our van and we made use of the shower facilities and the laundry facilities. There are two separate shower facilities - some on the exterior and two on the inside. The exterior showers were good - very typical for campgrounds. The showers on the inside were amazing! They were spacious and clean, hot water with great shower pressure, privacy and did I mention clean? The laundry room was attached and was very nice as well. If you have children (we did not), there seemed to be tons of things for them to do. Pickleball, volleyball, a paved surface and plenty of riding toys for littles and a playground. There was a nice firepit at each site and really nice touches through the park. The attendant in the office was so friendly and amazing! She, just like us, loves London (inside joke)! Anyway, I cannot recommend this place enough.

The location is perfect with easy access to 295, the Maine Turnpike and Rt. 1. A great base for exploring Portland or areas up and down the coast. The free breakfast is so so; the coffee is good. I don't use the pool or exercise room, but people seem to like them. The rates hit a sweet spot between the fancier, more expensive places, and the cheaper places you really don't want to stay.

The set up of this hotel already makes zero sense- but I feel like remodeling some of the rooms is a no brainer at minimum. Our room had essentially two mini bathrooms and a dividing wall to the bed? Why not knock it down? Anyway, it's clean enough I guess but the shower needs scrubbing. The shower curtain doesn't stay closed because whoever mounted it doesn't consider that it needed to close to be efficient? Pass

I actually liked it was there cause you could walk the opposite direction to more of the downtown area, very good, great walkable area! lots of restaurants nearby. The lobby was nice and I swear it seemed like they were always busy! We got a room on the top floor with a water view which we loved, so pretty! The room itself was great, beds were very comfortable, shower was nice maybe felt like it was running out of hot water after 2 people showered? They came in and tidied up the rooms each day which was a nice touch! They have a gift shop downstairs which has a coffee machine in there! so fresh coffee anytime you wanted, wish they had told me at check in, I didn't know till 3rd day when I went in exploring. Also a restaurant down in the lobby with your classic hotel foods, maybe a bit above average. We went down for drinks one evening and thought the drinks were great! Pool was great for the kids, shuttle was wonderful for pick up and drop off for the airport, make sure to schedule you return to the airport at least a day in advance with the front desk! All in all a very nice stay!
