Okay, despite being a bit of a computer geek (though I wonder how one defines a computer geek these days since pretty much everybody used computers) I generally don't spend all that much time in computer shops. Maybe it is because I generally don't buy all that much - all I the software that I use is freely available, and I generally only get hardware when I absolutely need it - that I don't visit many computer shops. This place isn't bad, though the staff are only knowledgeable on the stuff that most people use, so if you come with a question like 'does this work on Linux' there response is - it should. Also, if you are looking for component parts (such as a power supply) then unfortunately you won't find any here. In a way it is a store that deals specifically with computers, and really only stuff that the average user would require. They also tend to be a little more expensive that some of the other store, but at least they do know a little more than your average salesperson at Dick Smiths. read more
