10 yrs ago we hired AMS for a company party. We had so much fun we came back in 2020, but alas Covid. This year celebrating 55 yrs as a company we knew who to call. The owners and staff are top tier. Their dealers are engaging and many MANY happy reports the following week when the holiday was over. Never had to worry about details, they handled it all. It's nice to have a large function and you don't have to worry about your vendors. The DJ was awesome and even though there was just a small group on the Dance floor, they partied hard while the tunes were solid. I would recommend AMS for your party needs. Heather was the DJ for our wedding, and she was AMAZING! The DJ is so important to keep guests understanding what is going on from announcing the cake cutting, first dance, parent dances, last dance, dismissing tables to the buffet, etc, and she did it all! She even announced for my husband and I to go to the Photo Booth right when it opened. We would not have gotten any pictures if she didn't do this. Our experience with Todd, Ray, and Dwight over at AMS was nothing but GREAT. From booking up until our wedding 02.29.20 was a breeze. They answer all of your questions in a timely manner. They go above and beyond for you. Our wedding was at Wolf Lakes and the fact that AMS works closely with them put our minds at ease. I feel their prices are very reasonable for what you get. We also had a photo booth through them and it was such a great addition to our wedding. From the beginning, both my fiance and I felt at ease. I wish I could rate AMS 10 starts! I was a wedgewood client and they referred me to AMS Entertainment. Our DJ was Ray and he was everything I expected AND MORE. He kept the party alive as well as kept everything on time. He checked up on me to make sure I was having a good time and would continue to check up on me throughout the night. I was initially hesitant to hire a DJ for our wedding....frankly they annoy the shit out of me for the most part. But after much consideration and thought given to who would MC and keep the reception moving, we decided to go with AMS. I had heard from some friends that they are the best in town. I really loved the fact that they had a webtool for us to plan our evening and music selection. They matched us up with a DJ according to our taste in music and he couldn't have been better! After we met with him a few weeks before our wedding I could tell he got our style and and what we liked or didn't like. He was even very good about not allowing guests to request music on my do not play list! He was very low-key like we asked and didn't behave like your usual annoying wedding DJ. We used AMS for our DJ and photobooth for our wedding 8/4 and they were amazing! Todd was our DJ and he was also who we had our initial consultation with, he was always easy to reach by phone or email with any questions that came up during the planning process. Also we loved their online planner, it was super easy to use and helped us really personalize our wedding. It also made it clear to them what we wanted to do and things we wanted to leave out. Our wedding was so much fun, we got tons of compliments from guests about how much fun they had and the dance floor was packed. Todd was great at reading the crowd but I love that he asked me during the reception if he could make some adjustments and not play the "harder" songs we had on our playlist because the older crowd was really into dancing, it was perfect. Don't sign the contract unless you are willing to lose the $400+ retainer. They are not willing to budge on it even if your loved one passes (true story). The guys in the office are very professional and everything sounded fantastic. Even though the price was $2,300, it sounded like we would get the most out of it. More than half a year away from the wedding I lost my step mother who is very dear to my heart and just before that a close aunt. We decided to postpone the wedding because I am helping out financially with the funeral arrangements. Explaining this to the company they had no compassion. We couldn't give them a new date for the wedding seeing on how it was now the last thing on our minds. We asked if we could just use the $400 retainer towards the use of their photo booth in the future. The excuse we were given was that we had to pay more because out retainer was for a DJ too. I understand business and I don't doubt that the DJ is great and it would of been awesome. But they are a business and to them taking any amount of $ is a plus regardless of one's situation. I don't make a fortune and I saved and was paying for my wedding on my own. $400 is alot of money to me especially for services not rendered. I will not go with this company when we decided to have the wedding because life happens and I know they do not care about personal matters in others lives. Its about money to them. If you are 100% sure that you can commit to your date and/or are willing to throw money away then by all means. read more

During my wedding ceremony and Mother-Son dance, the songs did not transition well at all. There were moments of silence and pause between each song. The "DJ'ing" sucked. It was terribly, awful. 3/29/17 Messaged this company about rates middle of Feb. They replied 3-4 days later and I had already found another DJ for my wedding. They called/messaged me after that 3 times a week from then to now. The more they bugged the more I didnt want to reply; although I appreciate and respect thoroughness there is a certain way to go about it. I do not appreciate being badgered. Yesterday I get a call and answer it, it was them. They asked if I was still looking for a DJ (Yeah over a month and a half later? not! ) I said I already went with someone else and they asked who. I'm glad I told them, Mark Gouker at ITC Entertainment is the most professional person ive ever met and he will be the DJ for our wedding. After saying that the person on the phone said "Well I appreciate you answering your phone" -.- I dont appreciate that. nobody is going to respond to you or use your services if you bugg them 3 times a week after taking days to reply (reached out on a Monday). These people need to learn good costumer service. Fast forward to today 4/4/17 I get a text from the DJ I hired instead of them and he tells me that they complained to him about me leaving a bad review. Our wedding was in April 2017 at Panoche Creek River Ranch and we selected AMS as our DJ. They were really easy to work with from the beginning, as Ray or Todd were very responsive and helpful in answering questions. We had Dwight as our DJ on the day of the event, and he is amazing. He knows so much about music and how to get the party started. Our guests requested different genres of music and he was able to accommodate all of them. During and after our wedding, all of our family and friends couldn't stop talking about how incredible our DJ was. In addition, he worked as our coordinator which made it easy for us to not have to worry about the details. At one point, he was the only vendor at our event and he was able to problem solve to get our market lights turned on even though that wasn't part of his responsibility.
