I asked where the condiments where but there was too much of a language barrier to successfully communicate. I think they were out of regular condiments too. Took a single bite and it was beyond disgusting. Both the hot dog and the bun were cold. The dog was also salty and inedible beyond belief. An hour later I gave it to my dog at home and he took one smell and wouldn't eat it. I then proceeded to have the worst explosive diarea of my entire life. My insides are on fire still. Just after one bite. Never again.

However, SO many people buy businesses that have been around for decades, only to make changes that ultimately make the place unrecognizable, or what's worse, the service changes too, and not for the better. I can only hope that the new owner's understand that for a lot of the original families that inhabited Guinda going back to the 1800's, such as the Hackett's, Logan's, the Petty's and the Slaughter's (and many more!) , this place holds SO many memories. So many AMAZING memories. Some of us still live here, some of us still have property here, we visit frequently and always shop at the corner store. It's a tradition I've instilled in my 8 year old son too, who cannot WAIT to get to Guinda every time to be able to walk down to the store by himself and spend his hard earned money. :) I left my review a 5 stay for this reason alone. Diesel is usually a dollar extra and it is here also. Don't remember if they charge extra for credit card... I almost think no. Digital pumps with touch computer screens were a bad idea as when water gets on them it cam mess with the usability of them. Dry with paper towel before you start or just use pumps in the middle that are fully covered from rain.
