Can't recommend anyone who price gouges the elderly. My grandmother has plantation shutters…read morethroughout her home except on one window in the master bedroom. She called the Blind Man and had him come give her an estimate for plantation shutters in which he did. The process in which he was able to come measure and install her blinds was a nightmare in it self. She was very frustrated with his ever-changing schedule. He gave her 2 quotes. One was for wood plantation shutters and the other was for 2" mini blinds which were much cheaper. She did not understand the difference in the two quotes and by default chose the cheaper option thinking she was choosing a composite plantation shutter instead of natural wood. Apparently he used the term "blinds "interchangeably, and that's what she thought she was getting. When they came to install her blinds they were the cheap kind that you buy at Lowe's with the strings you pull. He charged her $400 to install them on one large window. I contacted him immediately to let him know that is not what she wanted and that he should have known that was not the right type of blinds, given that the rest of the house only has plantation shutters (even including the bathrooms)! I gave him the option to take down and keep his blinds and give us credit towards the real plantation shutters as we did not want the mini blinds that he had installed. He said that was impossible and that he still needed to be paid for those blinds and claimed they were custom fit and not reusable- does he really think we are that ignorant?! Those blinds where standard size & could be cut and reused, and are worth less than $150 at Lowe's!!! I immediately called his competitor and will not be doing business with this man again as he took advantage of my 82 year old grandmother who did not understand the difference in his quotes, and sold her cheap Lowe's miniblinds for three times the price. Pathetic.

They have sections of the showroom floor (about 6x6 maybe?) done in different flooring, so you can see what it looks like better than just a plank. Handling of the order was without issues. I don't think they have their own installers, but they gave us a name (Elvis), and he couldn't have been better. They showed up on time, finished quickly, and without incident. Floor looked great. I might also add that the reason we went there in the first place, was because everyone we talked to in Tyler recommended them as the only place to go.

Installed glass on screen porch that was too thin and not Tempered…read more Both of the above are against "CITY CODE ". Two of the 3' by 4' panes of glass broke before the job was finished. We have grand kids and could not accept the danger . Had to pay for thicker glass and tempered glass to be installed . Windows leaked and had to re-caulk the windows. More Caulking is needed on outside windows. They will not return to finish the job. I even offered to pay them more money !!! Very Dissipated ELY .

I do not recommend Wes from Stain-Pro concrete. While he was polite and seemed professional and his…read morecrew was very polite and respectful, the job he did was far below expectation. He stained and finished our concrete floors in our BRAND NEW house and the end result was awful. The finish is patchy, not shiny or smooth at all. The concrete is rough in spots and smooth in others. He refused to fix it, instead implying the end result was my fault because I did not communicate what type of finish I wanted. He asked for payment before the job was completely finished, assuring me the finish would come out "when the light hit it." Of course, I trusted him and paid him and then it was all over for me. His crew removed my interior doors to do the floor and when they rehung the doors, five of them wouldn't shut. When I brought this to his attention, he said he wasn't responsible because he "didn't manufacture or install the doors." Funny that they worked fine before his crew messed with them. My general contractor graciously fixed them for me. Wes did offer to put two coats of wax on the floor, but I was under the impression that this floor would not need upkeep. He said he could not put any more finish on the floor, but I called the manufacturer and the manufacturer indicated he likely used the wrong finish and I COULD put an epoxy on the floor if I lightly scuff the existing finish. Wes took NO responsibility for the problem, instead simply repeating over and over again that he did the job exactly as he said he would and that he had NEVER had a problem with any customer. I have seen his work on other floors and it was good, but mine is NOT. After spending 6,000 dollars on this floor, my husband I are going to spend the weekend following the manufacturer's instructions and try to fix it. Wish us luck!
