Came in with the two girls I nanny, this is the second time we've been in and we love it. Greg, who I'm assuming is the owner, is a fantastic guy. So personable with the kids, remembers names and faces and constantly checked up on us to answer questions and help change games. He was so patient and attentive, when we were having troubles starting up a game he was literally running around the store to help us. He always apologized for technology being slow/malfunctioning and generously added time onto our stay to make up for it. All around the VR is an amazing time and both the girls and myself love it. Bringing VR to the masses. The atmosphere is an open space with a number of VR machines set up. They have 2 types stand up and sit down. The stand up games are the more robust fight games or sports. Sit down is more relaxed type games. They have about a dozen games for both. These are the considerably higher end models. Most of the games are very imersive. I found my hour flew by. The only negatives are it's not cheap, $30 for an hour. They do have memberships. Also not great for people with glasses. Your face will get hot and your glasses will get foggy. Overall a solid 4 stars. Would I return? Yes I would. read more

What a fun experience! We took our two children (6 and 10) and it was the highlight of our "family day out" - The kids had a blast! I felt with never doing this before we had a lot of questions and were a lot of work but the guys working were so patient and wonderful helping and explaining things to me and my children. Staff was friendly and helpful, but the atmosphere of the place makes you feel like a zoo animal. 6 stations within arms reach of one another all in the front room with the front three stations being within easy kicking distance of any number of strangers that might be seated directly in front of you on the cramped couches. Enjoyable enough for somebody who has never played VR before and would enjoy the novelty while not afraid of looking stupid in front of the entire building or not being able to hold a conversation with friends. Good enough variety of games if a little low for the hefty $30 price tag an hour. Decided to leave within five minutes as my game area was directly inside the benches and I would have been forced to play on top of other people's toes. Manager on site did not offer a refund but rather his condolences that the experience was not as enjoyable as we hoped. read more

Really fun. I went here the other day for a birthday party with friends. The people are really nice and helpful. All of the workers are super cool and friendly. The machines though are definitely not the best. You can see pixels in the background, especially for some games. Still it was really fun and is worth every penny. read more

Wow, way better than I expected. I had previously tried the PSVR and was underwhelmed, but Amped Reality has a much higher quality experience with new Oculus headsets and a huge variety of games and adventures to choose from. Pros: * Brand new, cutting-edge VR * Enough stations (28) for a large group or a party * Both sitting and standing options * Large variety of games Cons: * None yet ... maybe if after repeated trips I'll eventually find something to complain about :) My favorite game so far is Beat Saber (gotta love a half-dancing, half-slashing rhythm game). The Climb started with a brief blocky tutorial, and then amazed me with the high resolution graphics when I started on an actual climb. It should have given me vertigo but somehow was just thrilling. Superhot might end up being a favorite game after I spend some more time in it. I tried Google Earth and visited Egypt, Brazil, and Greece. I even swung through New York as Spider-Man, and that was "amazing." I stayed away from ZomDay, but only because I didn't particularly want to have zombies sneaking up me in high definition virtual reality ... although it seemed to be a popular selection with other, less zombie-phobic customers. I spent 2 hours playing, and could have kept going. Any game is playable, but the owners caution against hopping around too much because there's a learning curve with each game, and that just cuts into your playing time. We saw the pictures the website was a little difficult but we called them and they were super clear and nice so we went there. And they explained everything very nicely and quick to get right to gaming. They were also just very helpful and nice. They also had a variety of games that were all fun.
