They had no hot water I guess because they had been too busy and used it all up so they had to boil water and keep adding to the tubs. Mine was never hot - Luke warm to start and most of the way thru the pedi it was cold. I have never in all my years of going to nail salons have seen this happen... Get a bigger water heater. Pedi was OK but they rushed through it Now on to my nails where I just wanted a gel Mani. I had to sit in the chair and wait a bit because they moved back to the regular customers and then it wasn't that great and they took forever ... my husband sat waiting on his manicure and never did get it - his attendant after his pedicure went to a regular customer instead My poor husband went back the next morning hoping to get a manicure... He again waited for an hour before being helped because they took regular customers first. I told him to go to our normal place but he wanted to give this one more chance and he did regret it after When I returned from our trip I am immediately went back to my regular place and had her redo my nails. The instructions given kept my brows super hydrated and didn't allow for healing, which is not good I found out. When my brows faded, less than 3 months later I found new microblade expert who is educated and understands the process, due to her continuing education with professionals from major cities. Educate yourself and expect quality was my hard lesson with Envy microblading. An expensive lesson!

But my last two visits left me frustrated, mainly because of the pricing and quality. Today, I specifically told the manager that the acrylics I got last time burned my nails, so I wanted gel instead. They still charged me extra for soaking off the acrylics. The manicure itself took 2 hours, and the end result isn't even great. They added charges for things I didn't request--like a "spa manicure" (which was basically just lotion and a hot towel that washed right off). They also charged for the round shape, soak-off, which I understand is healthier for nails, but it still felt unfair when I had already explained my concerns. I thought they only charged for almond shape but come to find out I was wrong. I expected to pay extra for the cat eye design, but the tech clearly didn't know how to do it. See photo. Every nail looks different, and it took 20-30 minutes just for that step. You'd think a manager would check in at some point for that. More butts in seats=more money. In the end, I paid $75 plus tip. While that's not wildly above local prices, the amount of time it took and the poor quality make it not worth it. Sadly, I won't be coming back.

Amma (?) was wonderful! She didn't try to up charge or sell us anything. I got a citrus pedicure with regular polish, French dip manicure, and my mom got the citrus pedicure with gel polish. The total ended up coming to $150 together before tip and we felt that was fair and that our nails looked great! They offer 1 free alcoholic drink (or soda, water, etc) while getting your nails done, and they have massage pedicure chairs. We made an appointment in the middle of the day on Tuesday (right after new year's holiday) and it was very very busy. Happy to see local businesses thriving, but a word of caution if you are looking to get in quick, you may need to be flexible or get lucky with a less busy time.
