The service was quick and I was able to get our order not even two minutes after we ordered it. I ordered a pepino-limon and my daughter ordered a dragon fruit (pitaya) agua fresca. It was what I needed it to be, and it was refreshingly cool and delicious. My son enjoyed his takis-locos, which were dressed with nacho cheese. This location has plenty of space and plenty of options. They have paletas, ice cream, shakes, fruit cups, and others. It is very convenient and close to where I live too. Also, they have a military discount. If you pay with cash you can save, but that is becoming rare these days, no? Plenty of seating, and little kids are lucky to have a mini playground inside too. It shares a giant parking lot out front with other stores like a laundromat, cell phone shop, and others.

This particular spot is on the far West Side in the Paseo Del Norte shopping center. With about 10+ flavors to choose from and countless toppings you can find everyone coming up with some unique creations. They charge by the weight so it really is up to you. My fave part though is obviously trying all the flavors in the little disposable cups and then choosing one of two sizes to fill up. The last time I went they were offering free waffle cones or bowls so that was pretty awesome. It's a great way to cool down so go check them out.

I thought it would be weird for kids at night, but no, they made us feel welcome like everyone else there. The kids LOVED the process of making the ice cream; it was like a magic show to them! I pointed out the line that distributed the liquid nitrogen to the 3 mixers, and yes they are quite loud. It's all part of the experience though since it fogs up and the coolness factor is upped with the fog and sounds. If you've never experienced nitrogen anything like cold brew, ice cream etc, yes it can be jarring. I would suggest that they have signs posted or warn when they're about to start mixing to let the uninitiated know. The ice cream itself is amazing. Custom made in small artisanal batches, you'll never get the same since they mix it right in front of you, kinda like an omakase bar. I think the milk fat percentage is like 15%-25% because the alcohol added cuts through the taste and can be overwhelming without that creaminess. You can have it with or without alcohol and of course the kids loved their Cookie Monster (cookies and cream) and berry shaved ice, without alcohol of course. I got a Cool Brew with Kahlua and it was sooo smooth! Really delicious and will wake you up! Ice creams run around $8 for 3 ingredients and the named ones are between $10-$13, which is really good considering they have alcohol in them and it's strong. They don't skimp on flavor or ingredients here. I didn't see the food menu until later but I'm excited to try their fried pickles. My kids were getting antsy by then and we needed to go. This was such a fun and unique experience and I love that it's in El Paso, vs Austin or OC. Really cool concept and they actually delivered with the taste. Come out and support local!

We went for hazelnut crunch paleta + dark chocolate dip + m&m and pecan paleta + white chocolate dip + pecans. Both were delicious and super filling for a great price ($5.50/bar). Next time I go I want to try out a fruit-flavored bar (strawberry or banana, maybe?) with chocolate-forward toppings. They had some interesting bar flavors that we'll have to test out later - taro, Kit Kat, avocado, and more! Helpful and quick service and clean place. Worth the visit!

Great break from the EP sun…read more This place has various snacks, but its namesake is where they go gourmet. You can pick from a wide variety of agua based and crema based flavors, traditional and new, all delicious. They also have a variety of aguas frescas. You can try them out first. The melon flavor agua fresca is pretty popular and the (rotating) flavor of the week. I have tried the pepino limón, which is good. This time I enjoyed the orange pineapple. All are refreshing. For paletas I tried a naked strawberry Mango paleta. Noah went with a half dress watermelon paleta half dipped in Tajín and drizzled with chamoy. Noemi went big and tried a Kit Kat paleta dipped in white chocolate, then in Oreos, and finally drizzled in white chocolate. They enjoyed their after school surprise snack. The place also does elote. Doritolkos, and fruit cups. They do points, they have a roving food truck for events, and they are close by. Great service, clean location, and great presentation of paletas. I will return.

There are other frozen yogurt shops with a similar set up in the EP area, but OL has a great family environment with its wacky seating and bold orange everywhere. I would totally recommend this place to anyone with kids! I can't remember specifically how many different flavors they have available, but the last time I went in they had coconut, strawberry, white chocolate covered strawberries, caramel apple, original (always my fave), and a few others including a holiday flavor. Any time throwing toppings on top is left to me I just choose what I want to eat, not what I want to eat with the Fro Yo per se. I did post pictures of the toppings available if you want an idea of what's there. You can't go wrong with Butterfingers, cherries and pomegranate seeds...well unless of course you mix them together.

Banging acai bowls!!!…read more I'm always very impressed when an acai bowl knows how to put together a classic combo which is my baseline for rating acai bowls. I always need to have bananas, strawberries, blueberries, and granola on mine! They all come together so perfect for me. It was a very generous sized portion for the price so I honestly think you get what you pay for with this great acai blend and toppings. Naturally they have all these other options that are all very health intuitive and have a lot going on and what not but sometimes it's just overkill for me ironically lol. They also have a great juice selection and all that sort. Not usually one for them but for everyone else, it's there! Definitely my fave acai spot! I'm gonna keep coming.
