We need to stop! The curry is below average and a bit tasteless, it resembles a gravy sauce more than a curry. Because all the meals are microwaved the curry we had tonight was cold and very very watery. We also had Kung pow chicken which was very bland, and a garlic chicken which was very salty but piping hot! We did ask if they did onion rice as I've had it from other takeaways and the staff said they didn't but they could make some up for us.... I thought that was nice, but all they did was add some small pieces of soggy onions to some egg fried rice. The boiled rice had the consistency of rice pudding. I'm giving 2 stars because I've had the mixed starter in the past and that's always been very filling and cooked well.

Sunrise is my mum and dads favourite Chinese takeaway and we had 15 minutes to put an order in for 7 people before they closed! You can imagine the scene. My brother and I quickly gathered the order and jumped in the car (they're collection only and Ross hadn't been drinking - safety first people). We got there and it took a fair few minutes to get the order right but we got there. If this was in London most places would have turned their noses up and said no with 10 minutes left till closing but this wonderful couple took our order with a smile. For around 15 dishes it was only £62.50 - unbelievable value! While we were waiting they offered us a free bag of prawn crackers and a seven up each. Once the large box of food was ready they continued to give us a free family starter box filled to the brim of goodies and an additional 3 bags of prawn crackers! WOWZA! It's safe to say we ordered too much food but by gosh was it good! The stand outs were the duck spring rolls, fillet steak satay and the crispy shredded beef but it was all great! A family favourite for us and if you can drive to collect it I would :)

Ordering at the drive-thru is like pulling teeth and you'll nearly always be asked to park up and told that they're cooking your food fresh and will bring it out when it's ready. (Don't they always cook your food from fresh or am I being silly???) Anyway, they will hand you any drinks or ice cream before you move away from the window, which I've now realised, isn't the best idea in the world. I say this because they often take so long to bring out your food that milkshakes and McFlurry's can have turned to milk whilst you're waiting. For this reason, I'd suggest you ask them to bring out drinks and ice-cream fresh with your food. When they do arrive with your food, I'd also strongly suggest you check the contents of the bag before driving off as they regularly give you the wrong food or will have missed out something that's already been ordered and paid for. I find they are not too bad during the week when managers are on duty and working the shop floor. However, weekends are something else altogether. I would imagine weekends to be the busiest times for McDonalds yet there are few managers working so service tends to be absolutely appalling. An example of how naff they can be at weekends is when I once opened a chicken sandwich and found the top half of my bun was missing. I kid you not. It was just a chicken fillet with mayo and salad balancing precariously on top of one piece of bread....

Parking is usually great, as it doesnt open during the day. Ive had food delivered from there a couple of times and never been disapointed. There have the usual take away deals, which is great for you and the missus`s weekly treat.
