Although the food is foreign makes it really doesn't make a diffference as it is just as good if not better than birdseye and all the other leading brands. I save an absolute fortune by shopping here. Not only do they sell frozen food but they also sell fruit, vegetables tins, ladies personall things everything that you would expect to find in a supremarket except the prices are very low. Asda is goo if you go after 9pm because they drop there prices immensley on almost everything so you can really get a good bargain! I thnk asda do a great range of clothes for everybody and specially the kids. I usually pick up tshirts and jeans for my son for under a fiver. I think the toys in here are really good as well. Great quality and a very good price. The dvd and cd selection is great. They always get the latest releases and they always beat hmv for prices. This branch of Morrisons is a fairly old store in terms of decor which is pretty typical of…read moreMorrisons stores who tend not to be competing with the likes of ASDA, Tesco and Sainsbury's in this fashion and goes for a more old over modern approach but this store is in a good location, right in Blackburn city center, just opposite The Mall. This store is a decent store but isn't a great place to do a weekly shop mainly due to the stock there, but on the other hand i does have some cool things about it, including being the home to Blackburn's Amazon Lockers which are quite a cool way to receive and return parcels when sold directly from Amazon. This supermarket also has a cafe. In some ways, it just feels like it has been left behind, walking up to the supermarket in a way feels like walking into an abandoned building, there is so much empty space and sadly it just doesn't feel nice. Overall, the selection in stores is quite poor for most items, even the gluten free selection was poor as well as the selection for other items as well. The staff didn't seem too helpful either, and that's if I could even find them! The game selection was so poor, there was probably about 4 or 5 games with some prices of good value and some prices highly overpriced, but it was so few in number they might as well not have it, and it was just a fraction to what I would normally see in a supermarket elsewhere, for example this game selection was smaller than what you would see for just one console in another supermarket. Frustrating. Overall, the store not only lacks the feel of a good supermarket, it has a poor selection too with some items which were highly overpriced, while also taking poor service into account I sadly feel the only two strong points for this branch of Morrisons is the location and having Amazon Lockers, which in its' own isn't enough to warrant anything over a single one star, in all honesty the Amazon Lockers would even be better to be located across the way in The Mall.
