I just wanted to share my experience. The mid to night shift workers are ALL AMAZING. Truly the…read moremost KIND, CARING, FRIENDLY, HELPFUL staff the entire store has. To clarify it's Tony, Corey, DeeDee and Carolyn. I will try my best to NOT come into the store until mid shift because the atmosphere during the morning shift is cold, snippy and RUDE. With the Exception of one woman ( don't know her name) but she has brown/dirty blond hair always pulled up in a pony tail. She is the ONLY one that is super kind. So all of the above I listed get the five stars 100%. The owner should be proud to have such a great group of mid-night shift working for them. With that being said. There is one worker in particular who is not only RUDE but also very judgmental and sticks her nose where it absolutely does NOT belong. I believe her name is Cathy. Not only does she criticize the products that customers buy FROM YOUR STORE. She also feels the need to put her unwanted advice upon almost every individual that comes in. My card wasn't working one time and she insisted it was no money on my car (there was plenty) but when I checked my account and came back to try again she asked what the issue was with the card and asked why it wasn't working. None of your business ma'am. Then I witnessed a man behind me who was Mexican and VERY CLEARLY there was a language barrier and he wasn't quite understanding what she was saying. He was only a few cent short and she proceeded to yell very loudly for all of the store to hear YOU OWE ME .74 cents. He looked nervous and not sure what she was saying so she then screams at the man to GIVE HER ANOTHER DOLLAR multiple times. I hope that the owner will have a discussion on professional behavior in the workplace with this individual. Quite literally she is one of the main reason myself along with many avoid stopping in, in the morning. Please give credit where innuendo the amazing staff during your mid to close shifts. They are amazing. Always working hard and cleaning the store. Deedee never sits still. That lady is consistently working, cleaning, restocking ect.

This station is decent when you are using the gas pumps and shopping the convenience store. I love…read moreall of the cute gifts, nic n nacs through the aisles. They really boost it up with all of the merchandise that you can impulse buy with. The check out is slow. Dear God, this is not the speed of what should be at a convenience, high- trafficked gas station. A lot of folks were picking up lotto tickets, and that was a major challenge for the checkout counter. I didn't use the facilities, so I don't know the conditions, but everything else is okay. + cute, interesting merchandise + well stocked + brightly lit + gas pumps in good condition -+ nice and slow as a molasses check out ( don't be in any rush, God forbid you have an emergency)

There are two Wawa locations in the Ashland, VA area. This one is my preferred stop because it is…read moremuch easier to access from Interstate 95. The other location is farther from an exit and requires navigating multiple roads and intersections. This Wawa is located on Sliding Hill Road (State Route 656), Exit 86B off Interstate 95. It is the first exit north of the Interstate 295 junction. Having not stopped since Maryland, I headed straight to the men's room, which was clean. Wawa provides separate restrooms for men and women. The men's room includes a handicapped-accessible stall, a urinal, one sink, and an air dryer. It was clean, though not spotless. I grabbed a hazelnut coffee from the coffee bar, which was generally well stocked, although they were running low on half-and-half--one container was empty and the other nearly so. I did not see a coffee station attendant at the time. I also picked up a SIZZLI sausage croissant with egg and cheese from the warmer. It was good. I used the self-checkout, and the process was quick and uneventful. Overall, this is a nice store with friendly staff. I've stopped here before and will likely return.

Thankfully the staff was not bothered by this. The food line was also quite long but we grabbed some chips and water and made our way.
