I was looking for some Lapua brass and nobody had it in stock anywhere. However, the ammunition store.com showed that they did actually have it. The fact that absolutely no one had the stuff, but they did, is suspicisios to mea, in and of itself. Then I started to read all the horrid reviews obout this store and I was really nervous. I contacted them and found them to be very nice and easy to work with. They told me that during the pandemic theit site was basically "hijacked" by some fraudsters. These people would demand payment from people by way of the cash system Zelle. The nice lady at the store told me that they never use Zelle, only credit cards. Anyway, all those poor people that paid these fraudsters with Zelle, never received any products for their money. These fraudsters totally scammed these people out of their money. I was still kind of doubtful, but I placed an order for the Lapua brass that I wanted. It arrived in two days and was it ever packed great! Each box was totally wrapped, individually in bubble wrap to protect it. I have never seen such care of my order from any other store. I'm 70 years old, have buying reloading stuff a long time, but have never seen anything like this before. I'll be placing another order for some more brass and as with my first order, I paid with a credit card, not Zelle. if you bring them up online, put in an order and it asks you for Zelle for payment, it is not the real store. I recently purchased some very hard to find 9mm ammo from this website. I was pretty worried based on the reviews that I read but my experience was excellent. I think some people are confusing the rather generic name of this store with some of the scams that are pretty rampant right now. Do yourself a huge favor and do not order from this company! It's been almost two weeks and my order has not been fulfilled and shipped. Customer service is non-existent whether it be by phone or e-mail. I don't believe the items on their website are even in stock to be totally honest. No other big name ammunition online stores even have these items in stock and somehow this company does, which I'm hesitant to believe. I got the order from the other site in a week. It said about a week till it would get here from ammunitionstore and then the wait extended even longer. Took about a MONTH till i got it. After my money is collected I get a message with my confirmation # and a message that said: We are currently shipping most orders within 1-2 business days (non-Hazmat orders) and 2-3 business days (Hazmat orders). This was due to a damaged shipping box and the excessive rough handling at FedEx. I received my package luckily, now I'd blame the shipping on Fedex, they've delay my shipping 2 times in a row. Now back to ammunition store, the pros, the price is cheap, I ordered an upper from there it is much cheaper than other vendors online even with the shipping fee included. But this pandemic really take a hit for my buying experience of this company, the home page banner says it will take 2-3 weeks of process time, but for me it took more than 4 weeks. I heard they have a small staff, so it's kinda understandable. The big con here is that since you are going to have a 2-3 week process time, I wonder if it's possible to charge the card when you are actually ready to ship instead of leaving the buyer in nervous wait. I placed 2 separate orders weeks ago. FedEx currently shows both packages depart Grove City OH, then show "In Transit" thereafter for a few weeks. It has been a circus trying to get FedEx to trace the package and respond. On my 3rd call now with FedEx, escalating for resolution. Before ordering I pulled up some reviews online and initially they were positive so I placed the orders. The issue is customer service. I ordered about $800 worth of stuff, and when I ordered, the site stated no delay in shipping. So I ordered. After 4 days and my order still being "awaiting fulfillment" I started looking. They don't work weekends, so I left a voicemail asking when it would ship. I sent 4 emails asking the same thing over the next 3 days. I never got a response. Like at all. ZERO. They updated their site saying "10-12 days" during this time. But I haven't gotten any communication. So now I'm mad, and another site got me the same stuff in less time. So I don't need this stuff now. It's been over a week. I can't cancel my order online! No options to do anything other than see that it hasn't shipped. Bad site. Like really bad. THEN, I finally get someone on the phone. I ask when it will be shipped, she has the overwhelmed attitude. I got the banter of there is no way it's going to ship, they have thousands of orders, she's handling all these customers by herself, kind of woe is me attitude. Look I would be happy to be understanding that you are overwhelmed. Make it seem like my order is special.
