I like the location, away from the very busy and hectic Route 70 corridor.

We found everything after a bit of searching, but had to pay attention to the "Sell by" dates, as many things were on the old side of the street. Ended up with Thai noodles, Chinese soy, and Indonesian cookies. The half roast duck was delicious and cleavered well into chunks of meat and fat with rich savory flavor. Service was adequate, although no one on the floor knew how to smile, nor make customers feel welcome. There are much better Asian markets in Heavy Chill and Philly. Not a place I would visit a second time.

I recently visited Ammon Mediterranean Market to find ingredients for the viral Dubai chocolate bar. To my surprise, they had the actual chocolate bar in stock, so I didn't even need to buy the ingredients! The owner was incredibly nice and even offered us some free snacks while we browsed. We tried the falafel, and it was so fresh, hearty, and absolutely delicious. The aroma of the cooked food was irresistible, so I'll definitely be back to order a plate next time.
