She was great and told me what was going to happen at that visit. She then told me she would be taking my x-rays and polishing and flossing my teeth. -- WHAT, NOW? Doesn't that happen AFTER the cleaning. Nope! It was done before! So, had x-rays, she polished and flossed my teeth, then had Dr. came to do exam and then the hygienist cleaned my teeth. To me that's all backward - like doing your hair and make-up to then take a shower. It doesn't make sense. I also asked about perio charting because I'm VERY aware of my oral care and mentioned that I don't think it's happening at my visits because I've never heard or been told about my numbers. I told her I like to HEAR what the pocket depth is so I know of any areas that I need to watch or spend extra care on at home (if there's a 4 or larger I'm spending extra time on that area). She said she does it each visit and proceeds with "cleaning" but again NEVER says anything about charting or numbers AFTER I JUST TOLD HER I NEED TO HEAR IT! Looking for a different dentist.
