Things happen, so it was cool until.... When I went back to the office to ask for help, the attendant told me there was no one available to move the vehicles. Mind you, the Cowboys game was about to start, so I understood they might be short-staffed -- but it still didn't make sense. I politely asked if someone could give me a call once the cars were moved so I could come pick mine up. The response? "Unfortunately, we can't do that." So let me get this straight -- you can't make a simple phone call to let a paying customer know their vehicle, which is already released, is no longer blocked in? My only options were to sit there and wait indefinitely or leave and come back, hoping the issue would somehow be resolved. That's completely unacceptable. Not only did I waste over an hour waiting, but I also inconvenienced the person who gave me a ride. It feels like they treat people poorly just because they know we're stuck -- since this place also serves as the city pound, they seem to think they can get away with it. We're hardworking people already in a bad situation when our cars get towed. The least they could do is make it easier to retrieve a vehicle after payment. He chatted with me and made me feel more at ease about my horrible situation that landed me needing a tow. I have no complaints about the driver and don't want the rest of my review to reflect his service. It was perfect. However, I have to mention that whoever answered the phone when I called (Dispatch, I believe, not a driver) was not professional. I had just been in an accident, I was very stressed out and panicky. I asked them, "Do I ride with the driver or do I need my own ride/Uber?" I thought that was a reasonable question...I've never had a tow before and I was at work. Even my driver asked me if I was riding with him or getting other transportation-I do not feel that my question warranted a joke. The man on the line responds "Nah, we just drop the truck off with you and you have to drive it home." Keep in mind I am having a panic attack and am not sensing that it's a joke so I go "Oh, okay?" and he goes "I'm kidding." Then a few more minutes later Kevin called back and said his driver had to go buy a rope and would be back in 1-2 hours. then about 45 mins later a different person called and said the driver still needed to go buy this rope and some straps to safely be able to pull out my vehicle and that was going to take 4-5 more hours before he could get back to me. In the end my kind hearted neighbors pulled me out of the ditch and saved me over $400 dollars. I will never use or recommend this company ever again lesson learned!

Allstate assigned my tow request placed 7/2/2026 @10:35am CST, to TP Wrecker Service (AKA: Tow Pro Wrecker service phone number 972-938-3221). Pick up of vehicle located at CO-PART located 1701 E Belt Line Rd Wilmer, TX, is 21 miles from tow Pro Wrecker. By 11:20 am CST, I was on the phone with TP wrecker paying my out-of-pocket portion of $104.17 which was in addition to the$120.00 that Allstate was paying via PO#1061594085. The vehicle needed to be picked up prior to 4pm as Co-Part closes at 4:30pm. I followed up with TP wrecker service a total of 5 times from 11:20am all the way to 4pm to asked on arrival time & assigned driver. Every time I spoke to a different lady dispatcher which would say that they did not have an assigned driver, and that they understood timeline. I also advise on every follow up call that there is a per diem cost from Co-Part if it was not picked up by end of day July 2nd. Driver was not assigned until 4pm, arrived at closed location at 4:41pm, car was NOT picked up. What makes this egregious, is that today July 3rd I called requesting to speak to dispatch mgr. a male got on phone extremely unprofessional & condescending. When I asked for his name, he said while on loudspeaker," my name is none of your F***king business!" and hung up on me. I called back and asked for my refund on portion I paid out of pocket, response was "you'll get it sometime within a few days and hung up! Co-Part is closed due to holiday; I will incur per day cost. They took my copay & Allstate payment. Was treated horribly, 6 hours wait w/NO service rendered, is unacceptable. Not ethical way of doing business, unacceptable wait time, not a way to treat customers and cheat system. I hope that registered owner Danny Girard wasn't the rude male on the phone. Notification to Allstate has been done.
