To make a long story short, they've really gone out of there way on more than one occasion to help me with car issues. The workers and management here are kind, professional, and really just care about helping customers with their vehicles. The first story was earlier this year with my wife's car. We drove to church on Sunday and noticed that there was a ticking sound in the engine. Walmart was the only oil change place in town that was open, so I took it there. After looking at it for a good 45 minutes, they refused even to put oil in it. They said it was "definitely a rod knock," and "the oil filter is a cheap off brand and is leaking so we can't look at it." Anyway, I was pretty nervous after that. My wife was pretty sure the last place she got her oil changed was here at Harris, so Monday morning I called them up. I let them know the situation, and the manager came to my apartment and put oil in it for me so I didn't have to drive it, potentially dangerously. Upon looking at the filter, he said it wasn't leaking, there was just a bit of residue on it. Also, they didn't use those filters so my wife hadn't actually been there for her last oil change. Despite that, they still took care of us and helped us. It wasn't a rod knock by the way, it just needed a bit of oil. The second story happened just yesterday. I'm borrowing a family vehicle at the moment, and my family asked if I could get the oil changed while I have it. I took it in, and immediately there was a problem. The oil plug wasn't coming out. The threads were stripped from the last place my family had taken it. The worker started explaining to me that I should take it where it was serviced last because of the stripped bolt. The manager heard this, and came over to talk to me. I explained that it wasn't my vehicle, I wasn't sure where it was serviced last, and it was definitely not in town. He then took care of it himself. After working at it for a few minutes. he got the stripped bolt out, had to tap in new threads, and put in a new plug. He didn't have to do all of that, especially since they could have turned me away and avoided all responsibility. They didn't. They fixed the problem for me quickly, when they didn't need to per their policies, and for a very fair price. They really distinguish themselves from other auto service businesses I've gone to. I really appreciate the workers here and highly recommend their services!

Try as I might, I couldn't finagle that sucker on there so I finally put it on the trailer and drove over to Plaza tire. They were hammered and it was about 2 o'clock on a very hot August day. I was more than happy to wait my turn in line and just wanted to ask if they might be able to help me with this. Imagine my shock when one of their employees asked me to meet him at the trailer in a minute or two. I don't remember his name, but he was a slender older man probably in his early 60s with a beard and mustache. He proceeded to remove the entire wheel assembly from the front end of the mower since he also couldn't get it to reseat on the bead. Walked off with it, and about three minutes later he came back and reinstalled it. I asked him what I owed him and he said "nothing, I'm on my lunch and it only took a minute to do this." I insisted on at least picking up an 18 pack of his favorite cold beverage, and he finally, after three attempts, accepted. Skip ahead to last week and I remembered what amazing service I got there and how nice they were. So I took my little BMW back over there to get new tires and they had exactly what I needed in stock and within 45 minutes they were balanced and installed. I was able to purchase new tires for this car for almost exactly half of what I paid for the same tires in California six years ago. They're honest, you may have to wait sometimes, because they're incredibly popular with their customers, but you're gonna get your moneys worth and it's gonna be delivered with a smile. Their service manager is a really nice man as well. Don't sleep on this tire shop, they're fantastic.

I was the first customer to use an Emkay Fleet card for service and Lee had to spend a ton of time calling a bunch of different people to figure out how the shop would get paid. As a note, this shop is ALWAYS slammed, so the guys don't get a lot of down time to handle things when a customer isn't in front of them. I know Lee had to have been spending all his spare time handling my vehicle. In a time and environment where customer service is obsolete, Lee is exceptional in all facets. Further, this is where I bring my personal and work vehicle and will continue to do so as long as I live in this area. It's not only because of their fair pricing, but mostly because of the incredible customer service I've experienced EVERY SINGLE TIME I've been there in the past 5 years. Plaza got a gem when they acquired this shop!

Luckly for us we discovered Samuel at G at G who got us going enough to get to his shop. We spent 3 days and nights in his shop because we wanted a new part. Ultimately, Samuel refurbished our part and sent us in our way. We would have been back on the road straight away had we let him do that the first day. We found Samuel and his teem to be very knowledgeable and fast in finishing the job. Thank you Samuel!
