I spent over six months trying to get someone to explain why I owed more money after already paying my copay. I called weekly, left countless messages, and never received a return call. Because no one would respond, the balance was eventually sent to collections. I paid the balance just to deal with the collections issue, then disputed the charge with my bank because even they agreed the situation seemed unusual. Despite that, I am still being billed for the same charge. Once again, I spent months trying to get answers with no response. When I finally reached someone, I was essentially told that if I didn't pay, it would simply be sent to collections again. No one could actually explain why I owed the money. I no longer have the insurance I had at the time of my visit, and I was also told the doctor I originally saw doesn't even work there anymore. The lack of communication and patient care at this office is unacceptable. The lack of care at this place is astounding. I also just received an incorrect referral which was supposed to be for a gastroenterologist, but instead received one for a vascular surgeon. Uhm, what?!? Attempting to pay a balance, both in office and over the phone, is a joke as well. I was told their computer system hasn't 'synced' yet with the old company and they wanted to give me a number to call for billing. Uhm, no. 1st their billing error occurred after they already moved to Intermountain and 2nd I'm not calling a separate number, if you claim I owe you money, then you contact me because after trying to give you money and you deny it, I'm not going to go above and beyond to get it rectified after it being your mistake in the first place.
