I will be honest, I was hoping the wines would have been better but the experience completely made up for it, and then some. I expected the Cabernet Sauvignon to be big and bold as these are the flavors of Calistoga and Napa Valley. That said, we enjoyed the Chardonnay Reserve, Sangiovese and Serata, which is a blend of reds. Also enjoyed the La Fantasia. We left the castle all smiling and chatting about how wonderful and fun our host, Riddhi, was and even spoke with her on the way out. She is a gem. We all enjoyed the experience and the tasting. During that experience (which you can read about in my previous review - if interested), my wife and I had a grand experience with former Business Manager Emma, who administered the delicious tastings. Fast forward to the present, we looked forward to enjoying a glass of their finest red before finding lunch. Upon entering the walkway, we were enthusiastically greeted by an employee named John who quickly ushered us to a vacant table for two. My wife had a slight reaction to the beautiful flowers that were in full bloom. Out of the kindness of his heart, John provided my wife with a bottle of Pure Leaf tea that calmed her allergies. We told John that we were interested in enjoying a glass of red, in which he quickly ran off and returned with a bottle of 2009 Eugenia Cabernet Sauvignon. Upon doing the swirl and sniff test (sounds dirty doesn't it?), I knew that we were in for a treat. Since we were both in dire need of a meal, we sadly could not continue the party. However, we will make a return visit in the near future to enjoy a full tasting experience!

The tasting fee is $65, but if you purchase $125 in wine, one tasting fee is waived. My girlfriends and I shared a tasting and ended up purchasing $250 worth of wine, so both tasting fees were removed. We left with some fantastic bottles and felt like we received great value. The wines were excellent, but the Riesling was definitely my favorite! Between the beautiful setting, exceptional service, and delicious wines, this winery was a highlight of our trip. I see a couple of reviews here complaining about party size limits and the timing of final tastings. I unfortunately witnessed the same level of entitlement from a group of 13 people who came in asking to be seated 45 min before closing. First, read the web site. Tasting room rules and requirements have been changing since COVID. This should be nothing new. It was kindly explained to the large group that the tasting room was full, that they only accept small parties, and the last tasting is at 4 pm. Once, that detail was explained to one person in the group, another would ask the same questions and would receive the same answer. Hannah politely declined THREE DIFFERENT PEOPLE in the group before their final entitled and 'intimidating tactic': asking Hannah or Alyssa if they were the owners (they are not). The woman declared "we're all business owners and we wouldn't turn away a party of 13 people that could bring money into our business". Good for you, 'Susan'! Tank employees are purely following their business policy, which is clearly stated on their web site and don't run your business. Her final intimidation tactic was to ask for the owner's information-- which she didn't take--and the group finally left. Good riddance. Tank is NOT the winery for you, Other than the experience of yet another group of entitled wypipo ruining the tasting experience of those of us already there, we had a wonderful experience, bought a membership, and will be back again. This is the atmosphere and environment that my partner and I enjoy with the types of kind and knowledgeable employees we love who will smile through all types of garbage shoveled at them with no problem. Our wine connoisseur was super friendly and took his time to explain the different wines were were tasting. We also got a charcuterie board to share. Overall it was a very pleasant experience. They are also dog-friendly so next time I will need to take my Coco here.

The rose was my favorite. I was talking to the owner and he mentioned that he prefers to be out making wine instead of pouring and I can see that. Also, the pours were very tiny. There was not much information shared about the wine etc, he left the bottle with the information side turned towards you to read up on your own. The place itself is beautiful and it used to be a hardware store. It's right next to the city hall and across the street from the police station. There is street parking as well as a public parking lot next to the police station. The place is dog friendly and the owner bought out a bowl of water for my baby. I didn't buy anything but I would visit again.

We were fortunate to meet the owner, Ted, who was very kind and knowledgeable, and the wine was Excellent and a Great value. The tasting room was cute, clean, comfortable, and bright. We left with 6 bottles and wish we bought more; will be ordering more soon. We went to several other bigger/more "famous" wineries in the area, and Olabisi was our favorite. Thanks again Ted!
